Unfortunately, my interactions with the association reveal a lack of transparency and accountability, contributing to a sense of frustration among enthusiasts. Furthermore, the absence of grassroots development initiatives at the district level is concerning. A robust grassroots strategy is essential for nurturing young talent and ensuring a strong foundation for football in various districts. Addressing these issues and investing in grassroots programs would not only benefit local communities but also contribute to the overall growth and competitiveness of football in Assam. I hope to see a commitment from the Assam Football Association towards positive change, fostering a more transparent and inclusive environment for the sport's development.
