Small village on NH 37. There are many shops of fresh daab - coconut on road side. There are Assam's handicraft shops too. Curd serving in Bamboo parts attracts travellers.

Das Bamboo & Cane Handicrafts is located at NH-37, Ahatguri, Nagaon, Assam - 782412.. This place is full with handicrafts all made from Bamboos nd some are from Cane.. Almost household storable items are available here, with Assamese Japi, Poloh, Khaloi, etc etc.. They look very beautiful nd attracts a lot of passerby from the NH-37.. An we should encourage this type of work by purchasing anything we needed in our home.. RB........
