Horrible service provided by Mr firoj RM we bought wardrobe October 2024 and it caught termite though it was under warranty period against termite as it processed particle board. We requested for replacement but no support from their end till date. Would like to request everyone not to buy wardrobe from hometown for poor service and lack of professionalism.

Hitesh Das did a great job installing my dining table and dressing table that I purchased from HomeTown. He was punctual, professional, and handled the installation very neatly. Everything was assembled perfectly and he made sure the setup was sturdy and properly aligned. Very satisfied with his work and would definitely recommend him.

I purchased a sofa from them, and from the very first day of delivery, one of the recliners was dangerously unstable. When I raised this issue, instead of taking responsibility, their service agent shamelessly claimed that my floor was bent, which is why the recliner wasn’t stable. This is not just a weak excuse. The situation was serious enough that the recliner was so unstable it caused my 60-year-old mother to fall. Thankfully, she escaped without major injuries, but this could have very easily resulted in something severe. Selling furniture that poses a safety risk, especially to senior citizens is completely irresponsible. After multiple complaints and relentless follow-ups, they finally came and “fixed” the issue. However, it hasn’t even been a month since then, and the same recliner has started making loud creaking and grinding noises, as if it’s 10 years old. This clearly exposes the extremely poor quality of their hydraulics and internal mechanism. A brand-new recliner should not deteriorate this fast unless inferior materials are being used. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of their sales representative, DEEPAK. When I called him regarding the instability, he had the audacity to say, “You saw the furniture in our showroom was it unstable?” When I logically asked him whether the showroom piece was delivered to my house, he admitted it was not and that I received a brand-new unit. That alone makes his argument completely meaningless. If the showroom piece and the delivered piece are different units, then obviously they can have different defects. His statement showed a complete lack of logic, accountability, and customer empathy. Overall, this Guwahati branch of hometown delivers substandard products, employs dismissive and unprofessional staff, and shows zero ownership once payment is made. If you value your money, safety, and peace of mind, think twice before buying from them. Once the sale is done, you’re left alone to deal with defects, excuses, and careless customer support.

Hometown has a lot of decor items. From lamps , pots, vases , portraits, wall-hangers , cutlery items , bed linens, curtains , furniture- you name it, they have it all. Their price is a bit on the higher side but they do provide great service and the quality of the products offered is worth the price tag. Their collection is quite Innovative and at par with the latest trends of the industry. I bought many pots and vases from them and they always manage to catch the eyes of people who visit my home. They also do an exchange program where they take your old tables, curtains, sheets etc. and give you coupons to buy from them. Stores like Hometown are not very often found in the city and i am glad to have bought from it and I would love to visit it soon ! 😎😎

I went there to buy a small table for bedroom. But when I went there, no staff cared to show me anything. I was searching through the whole building for such table, and the staffs are sitting and not even looking at me. I had to go and ask the staff, and they found it hard to stand up also for replying. Never had such experience in any store. Hometown is a joke.

Hometown is a well known brand of furniture and furnishings. Their flagship store in guwahati is located near hanuman mandir opposite ulubari kfc besides ulubari pantaloons. Getting here is easy and parking is adequate. The staff is really helpful. The ground floor caters to furnishings, carpets and other decorative house items. The second and third floor contains furniture and kitchen modular sysytems. They have everything you can imagine to decorate your home. Prices are a bit high, but there are few sales which offer attractive prices for the furniture. I bought a 6 seater dining table for 26000. An L shaped sofa made of pine wood for 67000 and a centre table for 8000. The staff is well informed about specifications of the furniture. They provide installation service and free servicing for 1 year. Overall a good experience

Great customer service takes your business to the next level, and ensure your success. Your product and price can be amazing, but without making your customer feel valued, you can lose out on tons of repeat business and referrals. But HOME TOWN is a good company and all the persons in good. After using the products i can provide my feedback on the same. But both the below persons are well manner and good and they work really well.
