Wooden Street - Furniture Shop/Store Sundarpur, Guwahati

Recently purchased a bed, dining table and mattress from this store (wooden steet zoo road). The only smooth part of the experience was buying the products. Terrible delivery and after sales service. The dining table and chair set delivered was not cleaned before or on delivery even after requesting the team. The mattress is not usable as it is deformed. And no solution has been offered by the store so far. The reason for posting this is the lack of any response/solution or action from the store.

Amazing experience one of the best godrej showroom visited till now

While the items in the store and website looks great. It is nothing short of harassment to shop from this place. We placed order for three items, a bed, a dining table and a coffee table. The bed came with scratches, the dining table came broken and had to returned and refunded and we are yet to receive the coffee table. And it’s been nearly two months since the order date. They have no answers or solution to help you and the only thing they say is, we are also employees, what can we do. This has been one of the worst shopping experience for us and now despite ordering well in advance, and paying, we are sitting without a dining table and a coffee table in the living room. Wooden Street collectively destroyed the experience of moving into a new home after a marriage.

Don't buy or book any furniture from wooden street..I have purchased the furniture total worth 1 L but upon delivery found one part of Unit is defective and still try to chase the replacement..local people is no copeperative for early replacement of faulty unit..

So they are basically thugs. I placed an order for which I did not receive any confirmation. After following up via WhatsApp,Instagram,calls and email….they gave me a made up Order ID which does not exist on their website portal…no updates nothing just made up things they keep responding me with and as the time goes by…they make me rotate n revolve around the order with nothing in hand. So basically I have just been cheated by such a trusted n reputed brand. Shame!!! I recommend to steer clear from them. It’s been two weeks n still no news about the status of my order.

Located at the heart of the city , nice place to go for if you are planning on furniture shopping, they have quite a good collection and the store owner and staff behaviour is super nice ! They are very kind and helpful!!
