Free Folk

They are wonderful organizers of the trips to the North East and take care of every small details. Six of us, all senior citizens, took a 12 day trip with them in Oct end to November 2025 and they arranged everything from the moment we landed at Guwahati airport till the time we took off again. The selection of the stays was all different and all wonderful. The cars comfortable and the drivers experienced as well as caring. Thanks, once again.

Free folk designed the itinerary very well for our kids trip to Assam. They exposed the kids to various cultural activities and history around that region. The instructors were very friendly and kept the kids engaged and entertained throughout. Thank you Team Free folk!

The experience of Arunachal Pradesh with free folk was superlative, to put it simply. I had travelled with my 7 year old son and a bunch of other moms with their kids at #backpackwithmom for 10 days. Abhishek Rawat and Deepika Saincher created an itenerary that was just perfect for us .We travelled to different parts of western part of Arunachal Pradesh. The homestays were at a perfect location and comfortable .They introduced us to the local cuisine , culture and traditions which they were very well acquainted with .We took part in different activities like flag painting , fishing etc .The kids just adored them since they were great with the kids. They made sure that we were comfortable at all times during the trip . I would definitely recommend travelling with free folk for a true and enriching experience of the North East! I know,I will .

One of the best trips that my child has experienced so far. It's hard to believe that a trip that's just for 10 days can bring in so much of a learning and transformation in a child's thoughts and actions. Arunachal trip organised by freefolk has certainly made a deep impact in my daughter's life. we look forward to exploring more of NE India with freefolk as a family.

Travelling with the freefolk was nothing short of an experience! One where you don't just explore places, you live them! Their passion for travel, love & respect for nature and the people of North East is infectious. You can almost mistake them as locals. 😄 so if you think of North East, you gotta think of Freefolk! ✌

My daughter and me did a backpack with moms trip to Assam with BWM and free folk . The trip was with a group of 6 moms and kids who had never met before. Deenaz, Deepika and Abhishek make the perfect team . Right from day one we all felt at home , like a family travelling together, looking out for each others kids( which we did not have to as the kids really got along well and otherwise Deepika and Abhishek were the best babysitters) listening to music, singing together and sharing our stories while getting a glimpse of Assam’s beauty- the kaziranga safari, the wild orchids, the sumptuous assamese thali, the rainy mesmering brahmaputra river cruise and not to forget the bihu dance , and shopping silk handloom and mekhla chador. Deenaz- as a mother she understands our needs, her soft spoken , open heart makes you feel welcome . Deepika’s charming smiles and quiet mature ways made sure our schedule was followed. Abhishek’s lively, informative talks and child friendly ways made the travel seem shorter. Deepika and Abhishek took great care of the kids and made sure to keep them entertained .
