Guwahati Hikes

Went on my first hike with them yesterday, very well organised. There was a large enough group to interact and meet new people. The waterfall was prefect too to stand under it and for a half day’s adventure. Loved swimming in the pools. The food packets and Maggie at the location was also perfect. Looking forward to my next trip with them.

Guwahati Hikes is exactly what Guwahati needs. I went to the waterfall in Garbhanga Forest Reserve with Guwahati Hikes, led by Satyam and it was a wonderful experience. Sure, the waterfall and the forest around was calming and peaceful as there was nobody else but Satyam’s energy, love and passion for outdoors and adventure added more life to the place. I’m sure no matter what the spot is, seeing it from his perspective will open up yours too. We took a dip in the river and also jumped in the pool from the tree which I thought I couldn’t do it, but it was possible cause of Satyam, I felt safe in his presence and knew that nothing could go wrong, even if things did go wrong, it’ll be alright. That moment made me feel connected with my inner child and honestly, I didn’t wanna come back from that place. Guwahati Hikes is doing some really cool stuff for outdoorsy and adventurous folks here in the city, without having to travel far distances and I appreciate them for it. Never knew Guwahati had such beautiful hidden spots. Planning my next hike with them already! Can’t wait to go! :)

Exciting locations …. Well curated experience … authentic feel .. A wonderful outing !! A must for every one who loves hiking …. And more so who are not into hiking … coz once u go with them …. U will surely love it !

This was my first guided hike within Guwahati. Satyam was leading the trail with the assistance of Chandraba Boro (I hope I got the name right). The trek itself wasn’t all that difficult. What was fun was that we were making the trail as we were pacing up the summit. The element of working our way up was very unique and I must say it was an excellent journey with the group! Awesome experience overall, I fully recommend anyone looking for a quick urban detox.

Had an amazing experience today @Garbhanga Reserve forest. Guwahati Hikes along with our two host friends were so welcoming to make it a memorable trip. Indeed it was one! Satyam our Hiker was kind and really put all his efforts to make it adventurous . Really enjoyed and looking forward for more such experience ☺️

He has many years of experience and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone's safety, comfort, and enjoyment. Satyam provides a range of trekking alternatives, including hilltop hikes and waterfall treks. It's ideal for any nature lover. Something different from our typical 9 to 5. And the best part about going with Satyam is that he arranges for fruits, tea, and maggi after the climbs. Would 10/10 recommend everyone looking for an experience like this.

Garbhanga Reserve forest 🌳 hike was magical! Literally had an amazing time with Satyam and gang!🫶🏻 it was a last moment plan for me and i was travelling for work here but they were so kind to make last minute adjustment. Me and my friend had a thrilling experience. Love the work he does! Fun filled day.🫶🏻 kudos for bringing us closer to the nature✨.

If you're a nature enthusiast and crave outdoor escapades, then the Guwahati Hikes should be at the top of your list when visiting Assam. I recently had the pleasure of joining this hiking group on their excursion, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Satyam, the leader is nothing but passionate about his work! It was an amazing experience overall. Would 100% recommend.
