It was a truly wonderful experience. The scenic views of the magnificent Brahmaputra River during the monsoon season were absolutely breathtaking. This connects the south to the north. A return ticket is approximately 200 rupees. The ropeway building is very well-maintained, offering convenient access to drinking water and washroom facilities.

By the time I reached (around 4.12pm) ticket counter was already closed. So couldn't go up there unfortunately. However enjoyed some time at the huge parking lot checking out nice Brahmaputra river and the river island in the middle

It seems that ropeway is short distance, but it's good distance. Connect north and south guwahati. Rural and Metro guwahati. You can take tickets for one way as well as both way costs 100 and 200 rs respectively. Validity for two hr only. Free parking with gaurd.

"Guwahati city's ropeway ride is amazing! The view of the Brahmaputra River is awesome. The ropeway is connected to a mountain where Lord Umananda's temple is located. The view of the temple from the ropeway is very beautiful. There's also a beautifully designed park near the ropeway entry point, making it an excellent spot for families, children, school students, and college students. I highly recommend this place, especially for couples who frequently fight, to experience peace and stunning views."🤗❤️

The Guwahati ropeway ride was super cool...😍 Gliding over the Brahmaputra with those epic aerial views of the river, Umananda island, and the city felt amazing. Short but totally worth it—felt like a mini adventure. Just go early to avoid crowds. Must-try if you're in Guwahati... 🚡✨

Unpopular opinion : I found the 5rs. Ferry ride better than 100₹ one side ropeway ride -10 mins ropeway ride. We went from planetarium side of city from ropeway to other side, then walked down till Doul Govinda Mandir (500ms approx) and then took 5rs. Ferry return -15 mins ride. The ropeway cable car 🚡 is only 2 in quantityanda can accommodate 20-25 people in ome ropeway - standing and going. Pictures attached for its close days which is second and fourth Thursday. I have also attached the ferry timings for return. the ropeway wasn't worth 100₹ . Wait time was 15 mins.

Its an amazing experience, you can see the mighty bramvaputra river from above, scenic view of Umananda temple, but it was little bit expensive as it cost ₹200 per person. Another thing, there always been a long line for the ride, so you should start your sightseeing from this point early.

Well maintained and very helpfuland disciplined staff.cleanliness is well maintained.water for drinking is available.there is a tea shop just outside the gate on the other side.and a few places to visit also. But you need to adjust your own time so that return timing can be managed.Timings of the ropeway probably should be adjusted so that tourists can visit the other side more comfortably.
