Dr Hitesh Kalita

I visited Dispur Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. on 10/01/2026 and 13/01/2026 to consult the doctor. The doctor’s behaviour was good. However, the employees at the reception desk were not welcoming. For simple queries, they behaved as if I was irritating them. The male receptionist and the female main attendant, in particular, were very rude. A patient needs to ask questions for clarity, and it is their duty to provide proper guidance and counselling. Instead, they behaved as if they were least bothered to answer the simple questions that I asked. Eventually, seeing their indiffernce and rue behaviour, I also had to change the TONE of my conversation. However, I didn't like their attitude at all. The overall perception of a doctor in any setup is also influenced by the behaviour of subordinate staff, specially after the patient comes out of the doctor’s chamber and has to coordinate for test-related details and payments with the reception desk and other staff. I hope Dr. Hitesh Kalita keeps an eye on the conduct of the subordinate employees as it affects his perception too. Regards, Nabajit Bhagawati Executive Magistrate, Chirang District

I visited this doctor today and was quite disappointed with the consultation. He didn’t engage with the patient or explain anything unless asked directly. It felt like he was not interested in talking, just quickly wrote tests and prescribed medicine without any discussion. For a consultation fee of ₹1000, I expected better communication and guidance. I will be visiting another doctor for a proper second opinion. Not satisfied with the experience.
