Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission

SARAS is a yearly mela organise by Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission. It is my honour and prevailage to be able to participate in the #ASOMI #SARAS at Guwahati, 2022. Although this is for the second time for me. However, for the first time, one stall was allotted to my office BMMU Silchar independently. Our stall have become ubiquitous because we had two very unique products, the first was an eco-friendly pen made of paper with seed and the second was a hand assembled LED bulb. Praise of these two products spread everywhere through news channels and social media and people come to our stalls from far and wide to get it. Also our stall was especially an eco friendly stall, we tried to use very minimal plastic materials.

It is the Head Office situated at Panjabari, Guwahati, under P & RD DEPARTMENT, established for livelihood promotion and empowering of Rural Poor Women to earn their Livelihood and helps in achieving respect in the society in today's world. Revolving Fund are provide to SHG's consisting of minimum 10 members inorder to do business and earn for family along with others or self.
