It is good for primary treatment or some emergency. They doesn't have proper mechanical tools for any diagnosis. Doctor is available from morning 8am to 2pm after that this place is closed. Though it is written government, but you have to pay additional treatment charges what ever they ask.

Animal Husbandry and Veterinary is potentially one of the most important sectors for rapid socio-economic development of the state. The department provides clinical health and preventive health services to different livestock species and pet animals reared by farmers and other citizens and collaborates with the Forest Department in respect of wild animal health management: and with the human health Department in management of zoonotic diseases. The Civil Veterinary Department was established in the year 1906, under the Land Records & Agriculture Department. One Superintendent for the Civil Veterinary Department of Eastern Bengal & Assam was appointed. Simultaneously, Veterinary Hospital at Gauhati (Guwahati) was also established in that year.

This place is the directorate office of ah& veterinary along with very well maintained greenery amidst the city.. very nice place to visit old directorate bunglow at the top of this place at a hight of almost 150 feet..

Offical place for all veterinary service holder and Greenery environment with few building and maximum old design house

Worst place ,the doctors behaviour also very bad ..there are not any mechine for treatment ...

Guys please check the expiry date of the injection before letting them put to your pets.
