Cannot explain how this place could ever get 5 stars from earlier guests. Unless they are fake reviews. Not possible to give zero score so I gave 1. Pathetic place. Nobody to receive us inspite of a prior booking and someone calling the same morning to ask the time of our arrival. Pathetic rooms. The entire place was a mess! We ran away within a minute of arrival. They had taken ₹500/- in advance which they need to refund. This is in response to the property's reply. There was a helper but he was clueless- this is not 'having someone to receive you'. You may be having standards of cleanliness but they are very dubious standards judging from the mess in the entire place, rooms as well as public areas. The room offered did not match the description of the one booked. The manager's phone was switched off, so there was no question of getting anything sorted soon. We were not willing to waste our time at this sad place.

I am v.Lalthanpuii from mizoram, this home stay i had very bad experience , which i had been already book from make my trip , The owner also already know that i book and pre paid but on the day i had been arrived at night time ,my room booked has been cancel without any reason .. i was tired and angry at the same since i had come from mizoram on the same day itself.. So i hope that they improve they hospitality and servicing as well. I wish know one experience like that i had experience

Very comfortable stay in a nice quiet part of town (Lamb Road). Stones throw from numerous cafes and sightseeing destinations. Caretaker Sanjeep was very helpful. Good breakfast! Note: get a room with a balcony. No elevator - shouldn't be a deal breaker though.

Best Homestay in Guwahati I have stayed till date. 5th time visit in this place yet the same cleanliness, vibe and hospitality. Will visit again.😃

I found this homestay at the very last minute, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. Despite the short notice, everything went smoothly — and the host truly made the experience stress-free and comfortable. Even after my check-out time, they generously allowed me to keep my luggage for a few extra hours while I finished some errands in the area. That small gesture made a huge difference and really showed the host’s considerate nature. It is located just near qalaa bakery and lush cafe. Fancy bazaar and railway station are just 1-2 km from the location. Will visit again in near future.

Manager Mr. Divyanshu was exceptionally cooperative and helpful throughout. Mr. Kalita, the cook and assistant, displayed a very kind and thoughtful nature, contributing to the overall comfort of my visit. Food were tasty, hygienic, and reasonably priced. You have to inform well in advance. Guest House is having convenient access to popular destinations, public transport, and scenic views. Few steps away from Maa Ugratara Temple, and few minutes walk to Bharamputra river side. Place is very peaceful and family-friendly. Reasonable pricing for the quality offered.
