Their rooms are good but thier services are very poor they even dont give a aifficemt itenary like badsheet and its was just too bad and very unhygenic

I recently visited Haji Musafir Khana located in Islampur, Guwahati, and I must say—this place is a hidden gem for spiritual travelers and Haj pilgrims. 🕌 About the Place: Haji Musafir Khana serves as a rest house for Haj pilgrims and travelers, especially those heading for or returning from Makkah. It's not just a lodging facility, but a spiritually enriching environment where peace, cleanliness, and brotherhood are prioritized. 🛏️ Facilities: Free lodging for short stays Basic but hygienic rooms, both shared and private (availability dependent) Prayer halls for men and women Clean washrooms and wudu (ablution) areas Common kitchen/dining space where simple, home-cooked meals are served Sometimes, light snacks or tea are offered by volunteers or management 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Management & Service: The place is managed by a dedicated team and local volunteers who maintain the decorum and ensure guests are comfortable. Everyone is treated with respect regardless of background. The environment is welcoming, especially for elder travelers. 📍 Location Advantage: Centrally located in Islampur, it’s accessible from Paltan Bazar, Ulubari, and the Guwahati Railway Station. Nearby you’ll find shops, pharmacies, and small eateries. Despite being in a busy area, the inside remains calm and serene. 📝 My Experience: I visited with a relative preparing for Haj. We were received warmly. The rooms were modest but clean, and the atmosphere inside was spiritually uplifting. There were clear instructions regarding prayer times, and everyone was respectful and helpful. Not a tourist hotel—but a soulful space meant for reflection and rest.

One star also it doesn't deserves, there service are too bad and the condition of room are horrible. Inside the room the walls are spit with tobacco and mosquitoes and I asked him for better room he replied all the room are full. The behaviour of the housing keeping is below 3rd standard as if you are staying for free and he talks to you whatever he want. I couldn't stay for 1 hour after payment because the way the house keeping talk me I feel like I am servent to him. So I decided to leave this place and I didn't took my refund, while I told him the amount which I paid for the service you keep it and I will thought I have given to a poor person.

Renewed with new style and design. Liked the decoration of the garden at font of the building. Serving as Hajj Office in the NE region. It acts as pilgrim transit camp. It is first and only rest and guide place for Hajj pilgrims. This office helps in pilgrim vaccination, collection of Visa, Flight tickets, offers free packet lunch and currency exchange. It extends its activity in the conclave of GNB Airport during the departing dates of Hajj pilgrims. I visited the wedding reception hall. Moderately spacious to accommodate large number of guests. Dining hall is also spacious and clean. Quality of food is also good. There is a parking place to park your car also there. Thank you 😊 One Star reduce due to bathroom flush is not working.

Haji Musafi Khana is a historic rest house or inn located in Islampur, a neighborhood in Guwahati, Assam. The building is believed to have been constructed in the 19th century to provide accommodation for travelers, traders and pilgrims. And it's the best choice to stay in Haji Musafir Khana... Spacious parking and dining hall. Also has a small lawn. Condition of the infrastructure is good. Quite easy to locate to. Can improve on the cleanliness part though.

Pros:Got a good lodging place,good parking And amazing during Hajj season. It is a very good wedding venue as well for Muslims (no offense intended),accompanied with Mughal garden which serves beef and is one of the Famous and old places in Guwahati. Cons:They do not serve food
