Hilltop lodge

We stayed at Hilltop Lodge for ten days (Dec 2021). We travelled as a family of four. Our memorable stay starting from the rooms , staffs and the owner were absolutely perfect. The food which was whole heartedly prepared by Ramesh ji was superb. Rohit and his family were the perfect host for us. The serenity and the ambience of the place is hard to resist. ||I would suggest anyone coming to Guwahati especially from Bangladesh should stay at this place without any second thought.||Hilltop Lodge is very budget and family friendly.

1st of all I appreciate Manager name Mr Ramesh who never deny to do any work as a manager he cook food quite well and also work for bathroom in case if labour is not present, we all should learn from him Location is bit far away from main city mns 1.5km it is in bit hilly area side, room and food was good. On 14jan there was misunderstanding between me & owner, previously my planned to come on 20jan later on I cancelled and booked for 13jan and also paid online and also send proof to owner on 2nov before coming we had conversation with him thts y when I came thn their directly gave me room but on 14jan he saw that I cancel 20jan booking, original booking payment ddnt received by goibibo thats why थोङी बहस हुई bcz u guys also know people are doing diffrnt type of fraud and also understand in that situation people' mind dnt work properly but after conversation with goibibo team he felt sory and also showed proof tht he ddnt received Thn finallu thru goibibo my booking details received on 15jan, So I rqst If guest say tht i paid then be alert in case if he cancel confirm them bcz few guest paid then 2-3days prior check in thy cancelled and stay in hotel Overall of it was amazing, i suggest u guys to stay in this hotel, for single try to stay in cottage u will feel amazing experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hilltop Lodge is one of the best homestays I’ve experienced. The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer breathtaking views of the hills. The hosts go out of their way to make your stay comfortable — from home-cooked meals to local travel tips. The peaceful atmosphere and the sound of nature make it a perfect getaway from city life. A must-visit for anyone coming to this region!

Okay so the room was clean and good. The only thing is that there is a good chance you’ve booked the cheapest option that is the bamboo room, which is ideally not a room you’d like to stay in as it has no air-con. And then you’ll have to pay extra to get a normal room. So don’t make that mistake. The caretaker is very nice and the complimentary breakfast is really nice too. Basically its quite value for money and it is sort of unique too because its like owned by someone well off and you’re able to sort of look into the main house Location is a bit off and is far from where you’d like to be but is quite accessible from rapido n ola etc.

The Hill Top Lodge in Kharguli is a traveller's delight - staying in Guwahati while retaining the feel of a forest, awesome views of the Brahmaputra, and an overarching sense of history. The Ahom Army''s armoury was located in this ravine from which the name is derived. Now , the city's well - heeled have their hillside bungalows here. The house of the late Assamese icon singer Zubeen Garg too is a stone's throw away. Rohit, a naturalist , is a warm host who will take you around the house and tell you tales you need to hear if you want to call yourself a true traveller. If you are in Guwahati, stay here. Or you will miss Guwahati.

Very annoying staff and rudely also rediculous as well, because when I reached to the hotel to stay even after 1200 online again they ask from me 500 . And again room also so dirty and blanket also even TV also not working after giving 1800 so disappointed ever wrost experiencein all time .

A beautiful destination in the outskirts of Guwahati to spend some leisure time.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilltop lodge. Exceptional hospitality and delicious food. The house is beautiful and the paintings made by the owner (and his father) are a treat to the eyes. We had a great experience.
