I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making the stay truly comfortable and stress-free. A special mention to the gentleman who assisted us throughout Manash Jyoti Deka his professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out and made us feel genuinely welcomed. And the food—absolutely delicious! Compliments to the chef Jintu Haloi who clearly puts heart and skill into every dish. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the presentation was beautiful, and every meal felt like a treat. You can truly taste the passion and effort in the food

Our group of 25 friends visited Bougainville Retreat & Spa with a prior booking, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The food—both vegetarian and non-vegetarian—right from the welcome drink and starters to the main course, desserts, and evening tea, was absolutely delicious. The seating arrangement on the lawn was very comfortable and cosy. Surrounded by vibrant bougainvilleas, tall trees, and bamboo groves, the resort offers a serene ambiance with a touch of natural beauty. It is also quite safe and ideal for families. A special thanks to Mr. Bapi Choudhary, Front Office Manager, who was extremely helpful and accommodating, making our picnic truly memorable. The serving and waiting staff were equally commendable—courteous, attentive, and well trained. Thank you to the entire Bougainvillea team for making our fun-filled day a memorable one.

We stayed in the purple rooms for 2 nights recently. They have airport pickup and drop service which it cheaper (Rs. 450 - 550) than the regular taxis, they might charge you 700 - 1000, so make sure you check with the hotel first. We were looking for a relaxing stay in nature and this was exactly what we needed. The property is vast with a lot of walking around and trees. They also have bicycles for the guests. There is a short trail on the hill which ends up on a higher view point to the surrounding hills. One of our rooms had a glass ceiling for the shower overlooking the sky and tree canopies. Breakfast is incl7ded in the stay and they have a decent spread with north Indian and south Indian items. They also make fresh dosas and bhature on demand. They have a restaurant in the property. The meals were great and the waiters were very friendly and adapting to our dietary needs. Food was fairly priced, not super expensive. We did plan to use their spa services but the therapist weren't available at that time. It will be better to make reservations in advance. There is a railway track passing near the property so one can hear the train passing, but it was mostly quiet otherwise. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay at Bougainvillea and would visit again next time we go to guwahati.

Had a one-night stay at this beautiful resort. Staff is extremely polite, accommodating, and informative. We had two meals breakfast and dinner. Attention to detail with the service, hygienic food, and delicious. I would highly recommend, this resort as it is cozy and close to the nature. We were in the purple cottage, called Machaan. From the time we got there we felt welcomed every step until we left. Great value for the money, food is very reasonably priced, however I missed an opportunity to get spa service and massage. I plan to bring back family and friends bring back family n friends!! Housekeeping staff actually stopped and asked for feedback to see if any improvements can be made! Loved that!! At the very end of the stay, transportation was coordinated by the reception staff. Flawless service in Innova vehicle, and the driver Niyar was very helpful! Service with a smile 😊

I stayed in the Premium King Machan Hut, and it was pure comfort—peaceful, cozy, and perfectly placed away from city chaos and street noise. The service truly stands out: attentive, warm, and thoughtful. The cottage was spotless and well-maintained, and the property offers ample open space to walk around and relax in complete security. A lovely surprise was the complimentary dessert plate, which added a personal and delightful touch to our stay. Overall, this experience exceeded my expectations in every way. A perfect blend of nature, luxury, and peace—I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and recharge.
