Absolutely loved our stay at Encamp Hilltop Eco Camp – Khanapara! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and looked after with warm hospitality. The tents were clean, comfortable and beautifully set up with all essential amenities. The hilltop location offered breathtaking views of the valley, especially during sunrise and sunset. The campfire experience, delicious local meals and eco-friendly approach truly made our stay unforgettable. It’s the perfect getaway for nature lovers and anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic experience. Highly recommended!

We booked pretty last minute. Had a super busy week. Just needed a escape from city.|||| Encamp adventures where efficient, organised with clear communication. We really didn’t have to worry about anything. ||||We stayed at mawsynram in Meghalaya. Which is run by a society of the local tribe.||||Serene, peaceful.|||| Basic but very clean and well looked after. Hot water on request. Solar powered||||Nice walks and activities at camp. More adventurous activities 30 mins drive away.||||Dinner & breakfast included.

This place isn’t loud. It doesn’t try to impress. It just is — raw, real, and rooted. Nature here doesn’t shout. It sings. And if you listen close, you’ll hear your own heart singing back. So yeah, if you ask me what I think about Encamp Khanapara Hill Top — I’ll say this: it’s not just a destination. It’s a feeling. And once you’ve felt it, you’ll keep coming back for more.

Amazing place to camp for, strating with gathering area then comes kitchen area then from the stairs you go till the tent areas in between you will get bathroom too. Don't have water in their bathroom properly but instead their is a drum where the caretaker of that place comes and fill the water so the people can use even they don't have light in the bathroom. Food can be made yourself or the caretaker can cook for you too they will provide all the utensils you need to cook food. Gathering area doesn't have more than 10 chairs and a side table is broken too. Have only 5 tents from which 3 are middium tent and in good condition with great view of the pond, 1 is the largest one but have some old kinda smell on it, 5th one is the smallest one in which one single person can sleep on it. Just to make your campaigning day more adventures you can track on the mountains behind the tents from where a beautiful Guwahati city can be seen and the sunset looks amazing. Keep that in mind that carry own speaker, carry two pairs of clothes and shoes, and safely track on the mountains with the team or the locals. Location is near dreamland Guwahati, Khanapara.

My honest opinion- Disappointed. . Original owner is good. But, the staff is waste. Cons- 1. We went on April 24. Idk if it's off season or not but, the the price was little high i believe. We payed 1k/ head only for staying. If food had to be included it would have taken 1800. 2. The condition of the road is not healthy. Drive carefully. 3. The staff had no common sense. We didn't except much, if you are running these type of business but least you can ask for water to your customers, on arrival. What they ask in return? The payment! You drive miles in summer heat, go to chill at some place, haven't even taken the seat, and they ask you to pay the remaining dues, instead of water, in a place where the network signal is zero. Very very poor. 4. Remember , if you talk a bit louder than your normal voice you will be warned.. then whats the point of camping in the woods and mountain? 5. The bed of the tents were not clean, there was dust. 6. Network is weak and the road is bad, so even if you do swiggy/Zomato there might be problem. Be careful on that. Pros- 1. it has many tents which are of good quality. Some of them located under hut and placed on concrete slabs. So, rain, insects etc will not bother you. 2. Has good facilities for toiltes and all. 3. Has a small waterbody( which is of no use except photos) 4. It is actually well invested by the owner, so, there is enough lighting and concrete stairs(no issues on even rainy day). 5. You can order from swiggy Zomato.
