Hotel Barak Residency

The worst hotel i have ever stayed.. Room smells really bad.. Room walls are so dirty... Didn't change the bedcover and blanket if the previous guest... Towels are so bad in condition... Facility for parking, but they do parking in very unorganized way... I had to wait half an hour for my car to get it out of the parking, because it was blocked by parking some other cars in front of it... Foods in the restaurant never on time...

Had to stay in this hotel for 2 nights as it was booked by a company, I was suppose to meet, and whose office is just opposite to the hotel. Was a bad experience I have to say although I never am this negative earlier. Rooms were small, bathroom was not clean enough, TV was small, and the complimentary break fast at the time of check in became non - complimentary the next morning as I went down for break fast , which , to make matters worse, would be ready only by 9.30 am ...... It was already 7.30 am.......||In service foods are too oily and spicy.......ordering a bottle of water takes around half an hour....

Poor service, poor food. We order shahi paneer but I had paneer with white gravy with worst taste. Breakfast was only chand dal and bhature and one egg. Pathetic breakfast. We don't prefer oily food but we had not choice and ate dal bhature.extention service is very bad. Nobody listen us in one call. There is no any good bazar near this hotel. I didn't like this hotel.

I wasn't even a guest of this hotel, but want to give 5 stars. Why? because the staff here was so kind!!! When I went to this hotel, I got lost the direction of another hotel I had booked. Because I didn't have SIM card (yes, i'm foreigner tourist), i couldn't find the direction and was at a loss where to go. So I went to this hotel to just ask if i can just use their Wi-Fi, and the guy at the reception said of course. They even offered me cups of water and tasty assam tea!! Thanks for the wi-fi, I was able to find the hotel I had booked. And the experience here was one of the best memories in Guwafati. Next time, I will stay this hotel for sure.

Very bad experience I had booked this hotel through Yatra. And the room was horrible...i did not get the room i booked for and got a lower end room. On questing the manager was extremely rude, he says " this is how it's supposed to be, you stay or look for another hotel." We had complained to Yatra and Yatra also agreed the fault. .. At night 10 pm, i had to move to another hotel. Had a very bad time in Guwahati because of this troublesome incident and horrible attitude of the hotel manager.

Awesome Place with Budget. Breakfast and Dinner Complimentary And Specially the Manager Azad Hussain take care of all the guests at the dining area.

Really it was an amazing experience. To me, this is one of the best hotel in Guwahati, Staff behaviour is very polite, Service is good , Hotel Manager Mr. Azad Hussain is a very nice person and very co-operative.

Ambience, cleanliness, hospitality, food quality and services bewitched me much. Really it was an amazing experience. To me, this is one of the best hotel in North East India. Moreover, room rent is also reasonable.
