Hotel River King

Never Book this hotel When I arrived, the manager’s attitude was extremely unpleasant. He first questioned why I had booked the room and where I made the booking. He then made several phone calls, during which we were kept waiting. Later, he showed us a room on the second floor using the lift. After showing the room, he asked for additional payment. I clearly stated that I had already paid in full and would not pay anything extra. At that point, his attitude changed again. Instead of using the lift, we were made to walk up two floors, and he then showed us a completely different room that was in very poor condition and did not even seem to be part of the hotel. The room was extremely smelly, and the bathroom was in a terrible state. Since it was already very late and we were exhausted, we had no other option but to stay. Although the booking included complimentary breakfast, it was not provided the next morning, and the staff continued to treat us very badly. I have traveled to many places, but this was by far the most horrible experience I have ever had.

Receiption desk employees are very casual.No security person at gate.I have to wait for an hour before entering into the premises.Very casual approach of persons.Location is also an issue.You can't find to eat outside nearby.In the evening auto and taxis are reluctant to come to hotel.

A wonderful hotel it was. Rooms were broad and airy. Beds were really comfortable. Food, water supply, electric, room service everything was just on time and perfect. There was a big balcony facing the river Brahmaputra. Will come again and stay here. Very peaceful.

Amazing stay with great views and very near to Maa Kamakhya temple, overall a good experience

The stay at Hotel King river was very pleasant. With the rooms and bathrooms providing all necessary amenities, it made the stay extra comfortable. Food was delicious and made us feel right at home. The room overlooked the pristine Bhramaputa river. Efficient and friendly staff. Excellent bakeries and restaurants along the way to the hotel was a great thing. Big parking space for vehicles.

So overall experience was average.......we didn't had any meals over there so...no reviews for food but...... According to its rooms and bathroom I think it's lil expensive....so if you want to stay in a hotel which is reasonable and worth staying then many more hotels r there.If the tariffs get lil cheaper then everything is fine...... M
