I had a very positive experience at Akanksha Hospital, Guwahati. The hospital is conveniently located near Radisson Blu, with good accessibility and parking facilities. From the very first visit, I was impressed by the clean surroundings and the professional yet friendly atmosphere inside. The reception staff were courteous, helpful, and guided me through the registration process smoothly. The hospital maintains excellent hygiene standards, which is very reassuring for patients and families. The waiting area is comfortable, and the staff make an effort to reduce waiting times as much as possible. The doctors here are highly skilled and approachable. A special mention goes to Dr. Reeta Bhuyan, who is well-known for her expertise in gynecology and obstetrics. She listens carefully, explains every detail in simple words, and makes patients feel confident about their treatment. The way she balances professionalism with compassion is truly commendable. The nursing and support staff are equally dedicated. They are attentive, polite, and always ready to assist. Whether it’s during consultations, diagnostic procedures, or post-treatment care, the staff ensure patients are comfortable and well taken care of.The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, advanced diagnostic tools, and a wide range of specialties. Considering the quality of service, the treatment charges are reasonable and transparent.

I highly recommend Akanksha Hospital and Dr. Reeta to anyone looking for excellent medical care and a trustworthy team. Their dedication and commitment to patients are truly commendable!

I liked everything about this hospital — it was a really good experience for all of us. From the doctors to every single staff member, everyone was helpful and supportive. If you have a budget of around ₹50,000 to ₹80,000, I honestly feel this is one of the best places for baby delivery. The best part is that they never force you into a C-section if everything is medically fine. Dr. Reeta Bhuyan is truly amazing. I met her only twice since my wife mostly visited with her parents, and unfortunately I couldn’t be there on the delivery day — but she still made everything smooth and comfortable for my wife. She’s extremely active and caring despite her age. I’m yet to know more about the other doctors, but I’ll keep updating this post because I noticed some negative comments online about a few departments. The hospital is also very well-maintained. Cleanliness and hygiene are excellent — no smells, no unnecessary clutter. The only issue we faced was mosquitoes in the private cabin, which I’ve already reported at the desk. I hope they fix that soon. There’s also a well-managed canteen with reasonable prices and good quality food, with plenty of options. Overall, a genuinely positive experience.

My wife and I want to express our deepest gratitude and provide the highest recommendation for Aakanksha Hospital following the recent safe arrival of our baby via C-section. Our entire experience, from the initial consultation right through to post-operative care, was nothing short of exceptional. The all-around care we received was truly outstanding. The entire nursing and support staff were consistently professional, warm, and highly attentive. They managed every detail with precision and compassion, ensuring both my wife and our baby were comfortable and well-looked after around the clock. Their tireless encouragement and dedication made a significant difference during a time that can be stressful. We especially want to single out and thank Dr. Reeta Bhuyan. Dr. Bhuyan's expertise, calm demeanor, and reassuring approach made all the difference. She explained every step of the C-section procedure clearly, addressing all our concerns with patience and confidence. The surgery itself was flawless, and my wife’s recovery has been remarkably smooth—a testament to Dr. Bhuyan's incredible skill. To Dr. Reeta Bhuyan and the entire dedicated team including Pediatrics at Aakanksha Hospital: thank you. You have given us the most precious gift and ensured that our first moments as a family were handled with the utmost care, professionalism, and kindness. We are incredibly grateful and wholeheartedly recommend this hospital to any expecting parents. Highly Recommended!

**Our Worst Experience Ever at Akangsha Hospital** Akangsha Hospital is only good for baby delivery — nothing else. Dr. Dipak Sharma and Dr. Reeta Bhuyan (Gynecologist) are truly good, and they are the only positive side of this hospital. After delivery, our baby developed jaundice, so we went to Akangsha Hospital. Mr. Bhabesh Doley saw our 8-day-old son and admitted him to the NICU for phototherapy. The next day, he discharged our baby. After just two days, the jaundice returned. Our baby became very sleepy and stopped crying. We rushed to the hospital for an emergency visit. Dr. Guha saw him and admitted him again for phototherapy. However, our baby was not taking feeds, and no one cared about it. We repeatedly told the resident doctors that he was not feeding or crying — just sleeping — and asked them to check for gas or other problems. But no one responded properly. Dr. Priyanka Jain is the worst doctor we have ever seen — she never spoke to us, just came and left after a quick visit. All the resident doctors behaved like VIPs, but did nothing helpful. Finally, we discharged our baby on our own and shifted him to Pratiksha Hospital under Dr. Partha Pratim Bora. Within 30 minutes, Dr. Bora checked our baby carefully, explained everything clearly, and treated him with care. Just after some gentle examination, our baby passed stool and started crying — within 2 hours, he was completely fine. This is how a real doctor should treat a patient. At Akangsha Hospital, such care is completely missing. I strongly advise everyone — **please do not go there in case of an emergency.** Doctors like Priyanka Jain and Bhabesh Doley should be removed immediately. Even the junior resident doctors there seem to know less than compounders. Dr. Guha, the senior doctor, hardly gives time — he just visits for a few minutes and leaves for his clinic. **Overall, it was our worst hospital experience ever.**

It was a nice experience in this hospital. All Staffs are very helpful. They have their own medicine shop to full fill your requirements as fast as possible. Dr. Banani Thakuria (child specialist), a wonderful doctor we have ever met. She listens all the problems very patiently and carefully. Her behaviour is so good. The best part is she remembers all the previous case details. Thank you ma'am. Thank you to the hospital authority.

I would like to say this place can be a disaster for people with lack of time. Overall systems can be much better and efficient, you will waste time if you haven't taken feedback from anybody who has been here and taken their services. Too slow! No delegation! Inefficient! The key person of this place is Dr. Reeta Bhuyan whom we didn't meet even after a wait of about 16 hours in 2 days. Have spoken to her via phone and also met other doctors so, the back of the business is strong, front of the business needs work, ops and administration. Maybe OT and Other Services might be better (wild guess) but Consulting and Diagnosis is a nightmare. Not recommended if you don't know people inside personally to get you past the long ques.
