My grandfather who is 93 years old, recently underwent a Total Hip Replacement (THR) at Pratiksha Hospital and is presently still admitted. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional care and dedication shown by the entire team during this significant stage of his life. • Doctors & Surgical Team: Their skill, patience, and clear communication gave us confidence in proceeding with such a major surgery at his advanced age. • Nursing Staff: Compassionate and attentive, they have cared for him with remarkable gentleness, ensuring his comfort and dignity at every step. • Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Team: Their guidance has been invaluable in helping him begin his recovery journey safely and steadily. • Support Staff & Administration: From admission to daily logistics, everything has been handled smoothly and with great professionalism. The hospital environment is clean, well-maintained, and truly patient-friendly. We especially appreciate the respect and warmth shown to my father, which has made this challenging time easier for our family. Pratiksha Hospital has set a high standard in patient care, and we wholeheartedly commend their efforts in supporting a 93-year-old patient through such a complex procedure.

The staff were kind, attentive, and professional from the moment I arrived. The doctors explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed. The nurses were patient, supportive, and always available when needed. The hospital is clean, well-maintained, and organized, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate the care I received and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for quality treatment and compassionate service.

One of the worst hospital experiences I have ever had during visit for consultation of orthopaedic department. The problem started right from the entrance. Security at the parking gate behaved very rudely and denied parking, while allowing the car behind us to enter and even taking their key. This clearly showed biased treatment. Patients are customers, not servants. Reception staff were careless and busy talking among themselves. Instead of properly guiding, they rudely redirected me to another counter without basic courtesy. Lift security was extremely unprofessional. Even after knowing we had to go to the 1st floor, we were made to wait 15–20 minutes while the lift was used to take someone (apparently a “boss”) to higher floors. When questioned, the reply was rude and unacceptable. I visited for orthopaedic consultation with Dr. Diganta Borah. After waiting nearly 3 hours, I was only consulted by his assistant. There was no proper communication, and only later we were told the doctor was in OT. This should have been informed much earlier. I also noticed that patients with reference were taken ahead, while others kept waiting, which is completely unfair. Overall experience from security to reception to internal coordination was very poor. No respect for patients’ time or dignity, even after paying consultation fees. Will not recommend this hospital to anyone. There are far better hospitals and doctors available in Guwahati.

I recently had the opportunity to receive treatment at Coras Hospital – a unit of Pratiksha Hospital, Guwahati, and I can confidently say it is one of the best healthcare facilities in the city. From start to finish, the service was truly top-notch. I was admitted as an orthopaedic patient under the care of Dr. Pranjal Mahanta, and I must say, he is nothing short of exceptional. Not only is he an incredibly skilled surgeon, having successfully performed my knee surgery, but he is also a genuinely compassionate and attentive human being. His reassuring words alone bring a sense of calm and confidence. Doctors like him are rare, and I feel fortunate to have been under his care. A special mention to Jumi Ba, Dr. Pranjal Mahanta sir’s assistant, who was consistently supportive, attentive, and helpful throughout my treatment. Her presence made the whole experience smoother and more comforting. Every department in the hospital functions seamlessly. I was admitted to Room No. 516, and I want to sincerely appreciate the dedication of everyone involved in patient care, from the nurses ("sisters") to the housekeeping staff. Each of the person I interacted with was courteous, responsive, friendly, and highly professional in their duties. Overall, Coras Hospital delivers not only medical excellence but also outstanding patient care. I’m extremely grateful to the entire team and highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking quality healthcare in Guwahati.

Very bad experience. My mother took me here to see the so called popular medicine doctor T.Ahmed. I was having digestion and thyroid issues. Firstly they charged us 800 rupees for visiting and then made us wait for so long. We paid the visiting fees around 1- 1:30pm and finally got to meet the doctor around 4-4:30pm. Secondly, the doctor seemed so careless, like both me and my mother were telling him about my problems and he was just smiling and didn't give any proper advice. Just said that drink water you will get better. I even asked if he could check my thyroid and tell me if there's any problem but he refused and said no need to do that. Also I'm underweight from a very long time and asked if he could give any medicine or run some tests but what he said was truly unprofessional. He said I look completely fine and no need to become fat. Mind u I'm a 19 year old female and mu weight has been 46 kg from the last 6 years. Didn't expect such a thing coming out from a so called professional doctor. Prescribed me some gastric medicine and headache pills and ended the session. It was barely 5 minutes and I paid 800 for this ?. Even a pharmacist could do better. All these medicines cost me around 2500 rupees. I want to make it clear that these medicines are of no use. Some time after this, my mother bought liver syrup from a local pharmacy and after consuming it for like a week, I recovered very quickly. Now I can eat everything without feeling like to vomit like earlier I used to feel. You people charge so much from us in the name of treatment and even after paying so much money, u don't even take a brief moment to treat us ! Shame on this so called hospital and authority. Going to the local pharmacies and dispensaries is way better than wasting my parents' hard earned money on you.

Recently, my uncle and aunt were admitted to Coras by Pratiksha Hospital for treatment. From the very beginning, the care and attention they received were excellent. The doctors and nursing staff were attentive, patient, and always ready to answer our questions. Today, my aunt was discharged after recovering well under their supervision, and my uncle will be discharged tomorrow. We truly appreciate the hospital’s commitment to patient comfort — the facilities were clean, the process was well-organized, and the staff made us feel supported every step of the way. A big thank you to the doctors, nurses, and support staff for helping my family through this time with kindness and professionalism.

Very bad management, there is no value of time for patients, they don't give appointment with time, just says to come and wait and try your luck. Such a shame. We have to go on time and wait for 2 3 hrs for our chance to see the doctor, even their doctors comes late. Really very bad system is followed here.
