I recently had a tough time caring for my grandfather at this hospital. The doctors and staff were super supportive and empathetic. Me being the only attendant of the patient, they explained everything clearly and did their best to make us feel comfortable. Although cleanliness of toilets could be better, but the care is top notched.

Had a horrible experience at SCI daycare. The Daycare reception staff are mannerless, no compassion at all. The security guards walk around the Daycare chemotherapy room with dirty outside shoes, but still tell patients and attendants to go barefoot on that same dirty floor. No slippers, nothing. Its disrespectful, especially in a cancer hospital. Patients deserve care and cleanliness, not this kind of treatment.

Doctors seem compassionate and professional in their interactions with patients. However, a hospital is not run by doctors and nurses alone. Non-medical staff such as receptionists, attendants, ward assistants, security personnel, billing staff, and housekeeping workers play an equally important role in ensuring that a hospital functions smoothly. Their behaviour and attitude significantly shape a patient’s overall experience, often becoming the first and last point of contact within the healthcare system. It is therefore deeply concerning when some non-medical staff display arrogance, impatience, or prejudice. Patients and their families arrive at hospitals in vulnerable states. Judging individuals based on whether they are native speakers, the way they dress, or their perceived social or economic status is both unprofessional and inhumane. Healthcare spaces should be free of such discrimination. Every person, regardless of background, deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Personal frustrations, workplace stress, or irritability unrelated to patients should never be projected onto those seeking care. A hospital is not merely a workplace; it is a place where people come in desperate moments of pain, uncertainty, and helplessness. If staff members are carrying emotional burdens or frustrations, they must leave those attitudes at the door when they step into a clinical environment. Ultimately, empathy is not an optional quality in healthcare— it is ESSENTIAL. A polite tone, a little patience, and basic sensitivity can make an enormous difference to someone already going through a difficult time. A hospital is not defined only by medical expertise, but by the humanity with which every individual within its walls is treated.

Worst experience ever at this hospital. Despite having many hospitals available, we came here based on a referral to consult a hematologist. Unfortunately, we met Dr. Rajat Pinchu, who was extremely unprofessional, rude, and lacked basic humanity. We waited for seven days. After all procedures were done, we were told to come on Tuesday. When we returned, he refused to see us, claiming there was no appointment even though our file had been with him for days. As first-time visitors, the third-floor reception staff also failed to guide or explain the process to us. My uncle was suffering from blood cancer and was in critical condition. Watching him struggle was heartbreaking. My sister and I humbly requested Dr. Rajat to at least review two reports, but he responded very rudely and dismissed us, saying he had other work. The lack of empathy from both the doctor and some staff members was deeply disturbing. Except for the toll-free department, this hospital deserves a zero rating. This experience added immense emotional pain during an already devastating time for our family.

I don’t know why people are giving this hospital a 3-star rating, but I sincerely request everyone not to get their parents treated here. These people don’t understand patients at all and have very third-class behavior. First, they gain your trust by saying everything will be fine here, but later some problem or the other always comes up. That’s why I request everyone not to trust them and instead go for treatment in hospitals of other states, like Mumbai, Hyderabad, etc.
