This is to bring to your notice a very concerning experience with Sunu Kalita from Sipajhar, who was placed through your NGO and worked at my residence for nearly one year on a 24/7 basis. She had taken a Bihu break for three days and was supposed to return on 15th January. However, when we tried contacting her for confirmation, she stopped responding to calls and messages. Upon checking her room, we discovered that she had left without any prior information, taking all her belongings and also some of our household items, clearly indicating that she had no intention of returning. This is extremely distressing and raises serious questions about the background verification and accountability process followed while hiring candidates. I have also been trying to reach the contact numbers mentioned on your website, but unfortunately, no one has responded so far. I request your immediate attention to this matter and strongly advise that proper verification and responsibility mechanisms be put in place to prevent such incidents in the future. Kindly also ensure that this individual is not placed elsewhere without due caution.
