I recently visited the Guwahati View Point and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in the city. Nestled atop a hill, the viewpoint offers absolutely stunning panoramic views of Guwahati and the mighty Brahmaputra River. Whether you visit during the early morning or around sunset, the beauty of the cityscape and the surrounding greenery is simply mesmerizing. The spot is well-maintained, clean, and easily accessible by road. There’s plenty of open space to sit, relax, and soak in the natural beauty. I especially loved how peaceful and quiet the place felt — it’s a perfect escape from the usual city hustle and bustle. The breeze at the top was refreshing, and it felt like time just slowed down while we stood there admiring the view. Another great thing is the feeling of safety and comfort at the location. There are benches to sit on and a few small food stalls nearby for refreshments. If you are someone who enjoys photography, trust me, this is a dream location — the landscape is absolutely picture-perfect! I highly recommend visiting during sunset when the sky turns beautiful shades of orange, pink, and purple. Watching the sun go down behind the river from the Guwahati View Point is a memory I will always cherish. Overall, I give Guwahati View Point a full 5 stars. It’s a must-visit place for both tourists and locals alike. If you are looking for a peaceful, scenic, and rejuvenating experience in Guwahati, don’t miss this spot!

It was my second day of exploring Guwahati and I visited this temple and after I walked through the premise, I went to this point and saw the landscape of the whole city which can be seen from there. It was beautiful and mesmerizing. There was cool wind blowing and brushing through my face and I felt amazing. While from the distance moments of the monkeys can be seen jumping here and there. It was a nice experience it made a great day out of it. ~12th May, 2023

To get lost into the mesmerising view of the Guwahati city. Be it any time of the day, you are surely to be surprised by the view. Towards the west you'd see the Mighty Brahmaputra and the rest of the directions filled by the city. Anytime of the year it is amazing.
