Computer centre has good number of computers for students to do they project works and also this computer centre conducts classes for programming and conducting placement examinations is computer centre supports both windows as well as Linux systems is computer system also has Param Ishan supercomputer which is used for research purposes

Computer & Communication Centre (CCC) facility of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati is very good. It has recently got the first supercomputer installed named PARAM ISHAN inaugurated by the HRD ministry honorable Shri Praksh Javedkar. The CCC is situated besides the Lakshminath Bezbaroa central library. All the students ot IITG can utilise this facility.
