View Point

Amazing place in the campus. You get to see the whole campus from the place. But leave a bit early coz it closes at 5 pm(5 am to 5 pm). There was a bit of drizzle and lots of chirping. And we saw a rainbow too on our way back!!

Although the temple doesn't have any interesting architecture, most people visit this spot after visiting Kamakhya temple. It is located atop the Nilachal hill and offers a good view of the Brahmaputra river and the city below.

Very good place. shoes are mandatory. a group of people below 3 members are not allowed opens from 5 am to 5pm

Such a mesmerising view ! It is some 4-5 km from the main gate and the entire pathway to the view point is so beautiful. The view of the campus from there is just splendid. I went there on a semi rainy day and the cool breeze a top along with the view just made me fall in love with the place.

Must visit place in IIT Guwahati. It's very beautiful. Best season to visit is winter. You will get complete view of IIT. Better to go by walking. Otherwise by cycle. In rainy season the view is completely outstanding.

When you are at the view point, surprised by the view which includes tall trees which obstruct your sight. So just a walk over hill with gentle slope that's all
