Latakata Bazar (Biweekly)

In this biweekly bazar i. e. on Thursday and Sunday, all Kind of seasonal vegetables were found available. As latakata market falls nearer to bordering state of meghalaya most of the khasi tribes were found selling the local vegetable and fruits in the market. Local Vegetables of manipuri, naga, khasi tribes were also found available in the bazar. In one row of the bazar non veg items like chicken, fish , porks were also found selling in the bazar.

Popular for indigenous and organic vegetables. Byers can purchase farmers of Assam-Meghalaya local vegetables, fish etc. Few Manipuri vegetables are also found (Which was seen in the Ima Market, Imphal). Excellent management by 'Suryadoy Yuva Sangha', Latakata, Basistha, Guwahati-781029
