I want to share my recent experience with Tata AIG Medicare Health Insurance so that others are aware before purchasing their policies. Just a few days back, I tried to avail the yearly health check-up benefit for myself and my wife under the Tata AIG Medicare plan. While booking, I was given two options – Lab Visit or Home Visit. I clearly selected Lab Visit, expecting to go to a proper tie-up lab for better quality tests. However, despite choosing Lab Visit, I received a message saying that someone would come to my home to collect the samples. This raised concerns because if an option exists for Lab Visit, why is the customer forced into a Home Visit? It makes me question from where they are generating these reports – possibly from the cheapest available source rather than a proper, trusted lab. When I contacted customer care, I was initially told to cancel and reschedule, and that I could visit the nearest tie-up hospital to avail the check-up cashless. They even assured me that someone would call me back within an hour with details. That call never came. When I followed up again, I was suddenly told that Lab Visit is not possible at all, and only Home Visit is available. This is misleading and feels like a scam. If Lab Visit is not truly available, why show it as an option in the first place? This kind of false promise is unacceptable for a brand that markets itself as trustworthy. Even friends had warned me earlier about Tata AIG’s poor service, and unfortunately, my own experience has proven them right. It seems Tata AIG spends more money on online promotions and paid marketing to show how “great” they are rather than genuinely serving their customers. I am extremely disappointed and plan to take this matter forward legally. My sincere request to others: think twice before buying any policy from Tata AIG. Don’t be misled by the brand name.

Don't take any insurance from these company... They never support you... I am one of there customer.. I complained many time but there responses are so delay and never successful

Health insurance claim process is horrible. It will cause delay in discharge of at least 6-10 hours even if u apply for pre-authorization. The patient will have to prove his entire history even if he is in a critical condition. The only motive of the company is to reject the claim. It is harassment for patients, nothing else.

Worst experience. They claim as cashless payment.But this is void.

Location of office is little difficult to find out, other wise it's good, staff is good and responsive

Helpful staff. Helped me in resolving queries in person and over phone
