Tried this new outlet and what a great vibe it was Clean, friendly staff Everyone was quite responsive and didn't fail to carry a smile The food was soo damn good Order a stealer combo of 2 Idlis and one Vada. The chutney is to die for. The sambar is decent and the Idlis are so sooo soft spongy and pieces are really generous in size The dosa was also really good crunchy and buttery. The chutney and sambar obv really good. The masala filling can be worked on but it's something that goes by preference cause overall it was really delicious and i will happily order it again. One thing i loved was the refill of sambar and chutney. The drinking water is also really fresh and you don't pay extra for water. Very affordable and reasonable prices Very friendly and good atmosphere and space Great food

Clean and nice place to have South Indian food. Ordered dal vada, masala dosa and filter coffee. While both the dishes tasted good but was very disappointed with the filter coffee. It was runny and watery. Not as strong as a filter coffee should be and without any aroma. Otherwise the masala dosa and dal vada were good. The place is very clean and hygienic and systematic.Nice place to sit down and have tea/coffee (provided they improve the quality of the coffee) Price point is also reasonable.

Tried the newly opened Applam - South Indian Eatery at Satgaon Road near the entry to the Army Cantonment. Ordered Idli + Vada Combo along with a trademark South Indian Filter coffee. Pretty impressed with the place - simple and fuss free seating with a relaxed ambience. The Idli was good but the Vada was below par. However, the Filter Coffee deserves full marks for the aroma, taste and quantity. The place is quite value for money with most items very reasonably priced. I m more happy since I can have a hearty South Indian breakfast after dropping my kid at the SFS school nearby.

If you’re searching for a budget‑friendly South Indian restaurant that doesn’t compromise on authenticity, this place is a gem. The moment you step in, the seating facility feels simple yet welcoming, perfect for enjoying a hearty meal without fuss. Their combo meals are a highlight—generous portions, balanced flavors, and unbeatable value for money. The dosa selection deserves special mention. Every dosa comes with a rich butter flavor that elevates the taste, making even the simplest masala dosa feel indulgent. Pairing it with their proper South Indian coffee served in traditional steel mugs is a delight. Unlike many places that cut corners, they offer both genuine instant coffee and filtered coffee, catering to different preferences. Tea lovers won’t feel left out either. The menu includes unique options like bournvita tea, milk tea, and more, ensuring variety beyond the usual. It’s rare to find such thoughtful inclusivity in a budget restaurant. One of the most memorable offerings is their coconut sweets. These are truly unique—soft, aromatic, and made with very little sugar, striking the perfect balance between indulgence and health. It’s a must‑try item that sets this restaurant apart from others. Overall, this restaurant combines affordability with authenticity. From butter‑laden dosas to steaming coffee and innovative tea options, every detail reflects care and tradition. Add the coconut sweets to your plate, and you’ll leave with both satisfaction and a smile. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine South Indian flavors without stretching their wallet.

Tried rawa masala dosa and filter coffee. Rawa dosa was good but filter coffee is not upto the mark at this price point. Need to improve filter coffee. Will try other dishes as well.

Overall it is good. But the waiting time was too time taking and the waiters need to be reminded of the orders-they tend to forget that you even ordered few minutes before
