Ideal market place for most of us. They have almost everything,from vegetables and fruits to grains to frozen food. Love this place . The price reduction available to card holders is a boon indeed as the prices are much lesser than some whole marketing places.

District Consumer Court is located at Maniram Dewan Road, Chandmari, Red Cross Road, Guwahati, Kamrup(M), Assam - 781003.. This is the office for all the disputes/laundering cases regarding any thing u buy or book or sell, the only Consumer Court of Guwahati.. Things which are not getting soughted over verbal discussion or quarrels can be brought here nd be fought for justice.. #Now - I found it a bit fishy while my visit regarding a issue, as the man out there answered me with a question (very cunning) nd mad to think twice.. Helping hand was lacking far behind, infact tried to push me mentally wrong about my issue.. So people while visit this place, make sure u have a legal-hair, or else they will wash ur mind nd make u demotivate.. RB..........

Its Members are very nice but the work process is slow like other consumer forums in India. Lack of infrastructure and not modernized!!! The Office should have been located in some other Office Hub places, like near Gauhati High Court or District Court.

This is a very Bad Place ever I have visited, One can get here only "Tarik pe Tarik" but no Justice. Since 2016 I have been suffering from this "Date Scam", every time the Magistrate announce for the next dates But he never gives Justice....! Most important things to remember "Your Advocate & your Opponent's Advocate are actually colleague to each other. I have lost my faith on this statement "Jago Grahak Jago" Publics must try to settle the Disputes if any with himself/herself but never come here for the so called "Justice"

It’s a place for Consumers to complain.

Located in a conjusted residential area, narrow bye lane, parking problem, Such an important court should be in an easy access place to cater consumer grievance smoothly.

Needs much more maintenance. We lawyers are going to highest constitutional court to get vc and ac facility for this court, state commission and other consumer district fora of Assam. Hope for Govt to listen to us. Will need higher budget outlay but will be worth it.
