Food :- --> The taste of soup to main course had a very unique experience I felt like. --> The rice bowl was bit spicy but really suggested. Staff :- --> their suggestions are helped me alot. --> they are doing well without hesitation. Booking or reservation:- --> I reserved the seat through Swiggy dine out once . --> this one we can reserve through calling them in advance to reserve best spot. --> If you are staying in Novotel Guwahati we can ask the front desk people. Ambiance:- --> the entry which is bakery or confectionery items were too good. --> there are two separate places I have seen --> one is near to the bar corner, another one is separate room with large dinning table. Location:- --> on the ground floor of Novotel GS road in Guwahati, Assam.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire 188DT team for making our celebration so memorable. From the moment we walked in to the last bite, everything was wonderful — the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and served with warmth. A special thanks to Chef Pallavi — your culinary skills made the meal extra special, and my parents thoroughly enjoyed every dish. You gave them a beautiful, joyful experience on their special day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your care and effort👍

Loved the food and drink . Really a perfect place for a fine out in Guwahati with friends and family . Every item on the menu was splendid and perfect to the palate . Loved it . Lily , Srinjoy , Ankit , Mr Bulbul were very cordial and welcoming.

The quality of food at 188 Downtown is commendable. The beverages are equally outstanding. We ordered the Murgh Zafrani Tikka, and the subtle flavour of saffron paired so well with the smoky chicken. The Murgh Ghee Roast and Truffle Cheese Kulcha were amazing. The pan asian dishes were also fantastic. The complimentary focaccia bread and the dip were delicious. The service is worth mentioning. Highly recommend.

Currently, this might just be my most favourite place in Guwahati. Right from the very first second I walked in, till I walked out, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The vibe and atmosphere were immaculate. Ample amount of natural light streaming through the establishment was probably the thing I liked the most about the setting. The outdoor sitting area feels very much a breathable space right amidst the city. The food and drinks all hit the right spot and were so worth the money. Additionaly, the staff were so polite and eager to help out in any way possible. PS: I don't know how, but their playlist somehow was playing a lot of my favourite tracks throughout my time there, so that was definitely the cherry on the cake !

The only real highlight was the offer available through EazyDiner. I’d strongly recommend reserving a table via EazyDiner or Swiggy Dineout to get good discounts. The cooking was unusually slow—despite just 3 other tables being occupied, each dish took around 25 minutes. Portions could have been at least 15% more. The staff was warm and welcoming, but the food mostly looked better than it tasted, with only a few items being enjoyable. That said, the ambiance is a perfect brunch spot with beautiful glass walls all around.

Food, service, ambience everything was good. The food was very good. The service was top notch. Cheers to the staff members and the wonder chefs. The ambience was very classy. Also for the dineout apps discounts you have to prebook from the app.

Today I have visited 188DT NOVOTEL, GUWAHATI - placed an order for few signature cocktails and asked for someone who makes the best drinks. So here I met Srinjoy - the best mixologist - made me the signature cocktails which were the best I have ever had in Guwahati. Srinjoy is polite, honest and is quite friendly. The ambience is quite charming. I would recommend all to kindly visit 188DT NOVOTEL, Guwahati and try their food and definitely their signature cocktails specifically made by Srinjoy.
