JAJABAR - The Taste Of Assam / Assamese Cuisine Restaurant

The restaurant is in the 1st floor, where they've showed their furnitures. The actual dining room is inside. The staff members are super humble and responsive. Their decorations are quite unique and impressive, espicially the Assamese traditional items. They espicially deals in Assamese cuisine. They've also beautifully installed the Assamese musical instruments. Coming to the quality of food, the prices of the items are quite awesome and taste is decent enough. They serve in thalis made of Bell metal.

Jajabar is truly a wonderful place. The interiors are absolutely stunning. Not even going to talk about the food—it’s incredibly delicious, with authentic Assamese flavors. I genuinely enjoyed the vibe and the food❤️🌼

Worst experience ever in Guwahati. Taste of the recipes encompassing the Veg thali is below standard. They don't disclose about the quantity described in the menu. Ordered one plate kawoi fish (2 pcs) mentioned in the menu. They served only 1 pc quoting that we serve 1 pc only when it is big in size, which they never mentioned earlier. While serving the Water bottle they opened the bottle without asking whether we want it or not. Service and food is very poor quality and below standard. Strictly not at all recommended.

Very Very Tasty Assamese Bhokua Fish thali . I recommend for everyone. Ambience is So unique and assamese rural look .
