They keep half packet of kurkure or chips for themselves and serve you the other half. This is so unethical to steal chips from a packet. Even if you give them the 20rs packet, the chaat quantity will be still lesser than the actual.

Have been to "Lal Chana Bhandar" countless times and I have never ben disappointed once, I think they are the only ones in guwahati selling the unique item i.e "Chips Chat", love the taste and its super affordable. Highly recommended if you are a chat lover.

Delightful chats at a really affordable price! I used to visit the place often during college days. Today I went again after probably 4 years or so and was happy to see that there's still no compromise with the quantity and taste. However, they did put more sauce than necessary (I recommend everyone to tell them beforehand to put less). Customisation is allowed and you can go for bhut-jolokia in case you want the chats to be spicy.

A good place in Guwahati if you love to enjoy a mouthfull of spicy and chatpata dishes then this is your must stop.Shop is not very big even space infront is also not very big.Shop is also barely noticable from main road but once you taste the chat they made you will forget all these negetive mentioned above.Must try their waiwai chat and jhalmuri but yes you might have to wait for 20-30 mins to get your order in your hand due to the crowd.

Crowded space in the evening, small place but it is known for variety. Different types of chana, mixture snacks. Here you can have customised mixture snacks with your own choice. Also, the have indian beverages like masala soda, shikanji etc. Average price. The place become awesome along with the wine shop just next to it.

My experience was far from what I expected I ordered the Kurkure Chaat. However, when it arrived, I was immediately disappointed. The chaat had a strange, fermented smell that was quite off-putting. It was clear that something wasn't quite right. I believe that the chutney used in the chaat had likely fermented due to the hot weather. Fermentation can cause food to develop an unpleasant taste and smell. While I'm disappointed with my experience at Lal Chana Bhandar, I hope that this review will help others make informed decisions about where to eat. It's important to be aware of the potential risks of eating outside food, especially during hot weather

The cheapest place one can opt for.. They provide unique variety of chaats like kurkure chaat, chipps chaat, mix chaat, wai wai chaat, jhaal muri chaat, cheese muri , aloo chaat, and a wide range of other amazing combinations which you can't get anywhere in the city... And they also serve masala coke which goes very well with the chaats.... Small shop but great taste.. They could improve the seating arrangement though... Only cash is accepted.. Also Parking area is not available..
