Nagameez: Ethnic Naga & Chinese Restaurant

Went for dinner and thought of trying Naga Ethnic. Well first time and last time. As the taste was up to the mark, too chilli and others are quite normal. Prices are a bit high too. Service and atmosphere are good though. Good one but overall 5/10.

We went for afternoon lunch . We ordered pork thali and chilli chicken and fried rice . The pork thali consisted of 3 chutney and pork fried pieces . Pork with Lai Shaak was also served along with pork with bamboo shoot . Presentation was excellent. You can check the photos uploaded. As per taste is concerned , the food are not spicy and flavoured by use of tomato, garlic and ginger . Very healthy in sense when it comes to use of species and chilli. Taste I would say 8/10. You can have heart full of rice and come out with a heavy stomach. We had 3 times which costed us 690/- Honestly I found it bit on costlier end . Overall recommend. Taste rating : 1. Pork thali :8/10 2. Chilli chicken :7/10 3. Fried rice :7/10. Ambience is good with rock songs playing in background. In my 2nd visit I tried pork garlic chow and chilli pork , both tasted great.

Been there the first time, I am quite impressed. We order Chicken Laipat and some pork dishes which were very tasty. Taste is completely natural and this restaurant really deserved all the food awards it got!

Ambience is first thing you will notice..wooden texture , furniture...few naga mural and items displayed..display of few award and certificate s collection on the wall. Now as far as food is concerned it Mostly for non vegetarian crowd... Although there are multiple but very less options for vegetarian hungry people. The place has some light English music playing mostly on 9xm which could give you a good feel if you enjoy music while having ur meal. Staff are well organised and well behaved, food quality is good, restaurants is clean.

We loved the food and ambience and service. Would love to visit soon. The pork pieces were perfectly cooked, moreover the size and portion of red meat and fat was equal while served.

The place is very spacious and pretty. The service was good. You’ll get the authentic naga taste. We tried the chicken thali which consisted of rice, Naga dal, boiled vegetables, chicken chutney, chicken with bamboo shoots, chicken with til and a dessert pink rice Kheer. Do try that!

Food was good..but need improvement on pork curry...the pork was not properly boiled..we have to continue chew the piece to digest....

The taste was not upto the mark. We visited the place to taste Naga style pork but were totally disappointed. There are now many small outlets in Guwahati which serves far better Naga dishes and at lower price
