Dr. Nahid Suraiya Islam - Best Psychiatrist in Guwahati

I visited to Dr.Madam with my old age mother many times, she treated her very carefully and most importantly she is always very serious about each and every patient. Dr.Madam is very polie and her behavior is excellent. Whenever I call Madam she never hesitate to receive the call and suggest her valuable advice, very cases when a doctor receive phone call and advice over phone. My heartiest salute/SALAM to Madam.

She's very busy went 3 times and waited 2-4 hours everytime+ didn't like her response. I have anxiety depression and dissociative amnesia which I am suffering, she told me it's my mind that have been focusing on multiple things nd various stimulation together so brain fails to keep up memories and prescribed 5-7 medd a day.... Whenever I'm on meds I am always fatigue and lazy regardless of meds I'd faint away... I keep trying to explain her how I forget things and told her I don't remember anything about my childhood and school life, she replied, why do u wanna even remember what happened in past okay but I'm forgetting important information and even my studies 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️even if I text her when I'm unwell she'd just reply take your meds, she's like a general physician who'd just prescribe you meds and her being a psychologist I expected her to explain my issue which I wasnt able to do, she ended up telling I need to study more, keep my phone aside etc etc and now my parents thinks I'm making up and exaggerating things🙂 as a teen seeking help from someone profesional it wasn't expected she might be dealing with 100s patient and might be nothing serious or common but as someone who's suffering it's serious and everyone doesn't have same understanding just like parents who couldn't understand.

Today, on 2/12/2025, I visited Dr. Nahid Suraiya Islam for treatment at the Six Mile GNRC branch. I felt very good. She does not ask for unnecessary tests and, compared to others, her medicines are very affordable.
