I'd give Hotel Sagar Ratna in Guwahati a solid 4 out of 5! I stayed in a deluxe room, and despite being right on the road, the environment inside was surprisingly silent and peaceful. The room itself was very clean and hygienic. The staff showed really nice hospitality throughout my stay, and their laundry service was quite good too. A huge plus for me was their pure veg restaurant, and it's great that they offer room service as well. But the absolute highlight was the complimentary breakfast—it was just too good! There was so much variety: fresh fruits, juice, detox water, tea, coffee, butter toast, and 3 different hot breakfast dishes. I had a really great experience and highly recommend it.

The restaurant offers a delightful experience with its spacious and comfortable seating. The ambiance is notably serene and impeccably clean. This establishment specializes in pure vegetarian cuisine, featuring a diverse menu that includes North Indian, Chinese, South Indian, and Assamese dishes. The staff members are consistently courteous and well-mannered. Typically, food preparation takes approximately 5-10 minutes. I personally enjoyed the South Indian Thali, which proved to be a generous and satisfying meal for one person. The sweet halwa was particularly exquisite. Should you be seeking a unique culinary experience, this restaurant comes highly recommended. You can find this establishment conveniently located in Paltan Bazar, adjacent to the Nepali Temple, and in close proximity to the Guwahati railway junction.

The hotel offered decent food with a fair variety, though nothing exceptional. Service was polite but sometimes slow. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, making it a reasonable place to stay, though there’s room for improvement in a few areas.

Loooovely food! Pooris are very tasty and light, North Indian thali is to die for. Coffee was great, tea can be skipped. Do finish your meal with a gulag jamun!

The vegetarian restaurant is located opposite to Nepali Temple in Paltan Bazar. This is one of the authentic and popular veg restaurant in Paltan Bazar that serves delicious vegetarian dishes. There are plenty of options available for vegetarian visitors. The quality of food is 👌👌. Most of the time the staffs are very busy as the restaurant is always filled with customers. The service of the restaurant is satisfying. The decor and ambience is commendable. Overall I will give 3.5/5 to this veg restaurant.
