Mizo Kitchen is a small terrace spot serving Mizoram cuisine. We tried the Bok Choy pork and beef, but they weren't the best we've had. The beef dish, in particular, came with a very large bone piece that almost filled the plate. The beef clear soup was quite disappointing. It had a strong raw beef taste, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're not comfortable with that flavour. The mixed noodles were undercooked, and we could barely find any chicken, prawns, or other meats in it. On a positive note, the Mizo rice porridge was refreshing. But maybe if you want to try out Mizoram cuisine, you can try it once.

I liked the cool vibe of this place. It is on the 4th floor with rooftop space. The food felt like home cooked. I ordered mizo chicken special thali, smoked pork fry and tamarind juice. All tasted so well. Must visit place. PS, Tamarind juice was so yum that I forgot to take its picture

Mizo Kitchen is a Northern Eastern cuisine hidden gem in Koramangala, quite literally it's tucked away on the terrace of Sukh Sagar Restaurant, with the lift access slightly around the corner, which can make it a bit tricky to find. But once you're there, you're in for a treat. The ambience is simple and unpretentious, allowing the food to take center stage. The dishes are wonderfully authentic, offering a true taste of Mizoram. Don't go expecting the spicy punch of other regional cuisines Mizo spices are milder, more aromatic, and distinct in their own way. The thalis and specials of the day are highly recommended and give a wholesome experience of the cuisine. If you're looking to explore something different and genuinely regional, Mizo Kitchen is definitely worth the visit.

Mizo Kitchen used to be one of my absolute favorite places. But sadly, things have gone downhill in just three short months. The pork chowmein is now a huge disappointment. It barely had two or three tiny pieces of pork, and the rest of the dish was crammed with baby corn and beans. Seriously? A pork chowmein with hardly any pork? On top of that, the taste was nothing like it used to be. The bamboo shoot condiment was equally frustrating. Instead of actual bamboo shoot, it was just filled with onions. That’s not what I expect, especially from this place at all.

Well we got free supply of oil along with food. Extra pork in chicken fried rice along with lots n lots of oil in both noodles and fried rice. Highly disappointed

This tiny spot in Kormangala is a real deal if you are into Mizoram cuisine. I went into the trap of this place by seeing an Instagram reel. Despite the size, the place is packed and the vibe is pure northeastern, I mean, when most of the crowd looks like from Mizoram, you know it’s legit. Even the staff were from Mizoram or who knows they were from Nepal or Assam 😅 I tried pork for the first time, gher per pata chala toh papa meri gand fod denge. I was in full BT ki dharm burst toh nahi ho gaya? But then I console myself that it wasn’t a beef. Anyways, it was interesting, it will be biased to judge if the pork taste was bad or my buds were not ready to accept that taste. Either way, it was an adventure worth taking. Things I tried : Smoke pork boiled : 2/5 Chicken noodles Mizo style : 4/5 Sanpiau : It’s a Porridge (tasteless) Sawhchiar : Seriously I forgot how was the tase Mizo style friend rice . 4/5
