I really Loved my experience at this place. We actually went for Bagan inside Greenwood Beltola but there was no one available for service and the place did not even look like a Cafe😅Then as we were about to exit we saw JholoeKiya and we thought lets try. The place was not huge but really aesthetic. Coming to food as we were not very hungry, we just went for starter coffee and Cheesecake. The service was good so was ambience. Looking forward for lunch or dinner soon. There is discount when you pay through District app(Thank me later😬)

Recommend getting the baked sea bass with a side of mashed potatoes. The fish was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing in itself as well as along with the rest of the elements of the dish. Service is top notch, and the atmosphere is very warm and open.

The ambience and service was excellent. However the food was pretty mediocre. Since they claim themselves to be a luxury restaurant, they should try to provide better gourmet food. Out of the 4 or 5 dishes we ordered, only one (Printed Pasta) was actually good. The rest were average and one (The Chipotle Chilli Chicken dish) was extremely disappointing. It had too much cabbage and honestly didn't taste gourmet at all. Roadside shops serve better noodles than that. Overall, I personally wouldn't visit it again because the food wasn't up to the mark. I understand the high prices since it's a luxury restaurant but they should try to increase the quality of their food. Went there again. Disappointed but not surprised. We had to change most of our orders cause they didn't have half the things in the items. The pasta was unsalted and bland. The filo samosa was pretty mediocre. I really am not gonna visit this place again.

This place had been on my list for long. Finally visited them on my birthday this year, on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. Ambience is simply amazing, very very classy. We first ordered Crispy Lotus Stem chaat and Bamboo Roast Chicken. We loved how the chaat was assembled and enjoyed both the items. It was not wow, but it was okay. We also ordered two drinks which tasted fine. Next we ordered 36h Vindaloo Ribs and Baked Sea Bass, Amritsari Butter. After waiting for almost 40 minutes, we were informed that the oven has become dysfunctional, so these items won't be served. Weird that such a huge fine dining has only one oven 🙄. In the meantime, we found a strand of hair in the drink. On bringing this to their notice, they promptly replaced the drink, which we appreciate. We then placed an order for Mutton Shanks Biryani which arrived after another 20-25 mins. By now, we were frustrated and tired. All people who came before us had already left by now. Our biryani arrived and we ate it disappointed and asked for the bill. To make up for all the fiasco, we were given a free birthday cake, also mocktails were made free. We appreciate the efforts, but this is not how a fine dining should be. However, it needs to be mentioned that the service boy who served us - Sartom, did a commendable job (Service rating is for the chef, not the service boy). He always carried a smile on his face and greeted us with a lot of warmth and cheer. That guy deserves to go places. All in all, Jholoekiya really needs to up their game and get a chef who can efficiently run their kitchen.

Jholokiya Restaurant, located within the beautiful Greenwood Hotel in Guwahati, offers good dining experience that blends authentic Assamese flavors with modern culinary finesse. The menu is a delightful mix of traditional Assamese dishes and a variety of Indian and continental options. The star of the show is undoubtedly the locally-inspired cuisine. The staff is courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable about the dishes. Service is good. Overall, Jholokiya is a good spot for both locals and travelers looking for an authentic taste of Assam in a sophisticated setting.

JholoeKiya, located in Guwahati, offers a unique and stylish dining experience that is sure to impress. The restaurant's ambiance is sophisticated and inviting, with a focus on creating a memorable dining atmosphere. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent service throughout our visit. While the food left a bit to be desired overall, there were a few standout dishes that showcased the restaurant's culinary skills. The til chicken and patot dia mas were particularly impressive, with flavorful and well-balanced flavors. However, some of the other dishes seemed to lack the same level of complexity and depth. The restaurant's cocktail menu was also worth mentioning. The drinks were expertly crafted and presented in visually appealing ways. However, we found the prices to be on the higher side for the cocktails offered. In addition to the main courses, we also tried the vegetable samosas and the dessert platter. The samosas were crispy and flavorful, while the dessert platter offered a variety of sweet treats. However, we found the portions to be somewhat small for the price. Overall, JholoeKiya is a great option for a special occasion or a night out with friends. The restaurant's ambiance, service, and a few standout dishes make it a worthwhile experience. However, those seeking a truly exceptional culinary journey might find the food a bit lacking in comparison to other high-end restaurants.

Food was okay in the sense that it tasted good, but the dishes weren’t what they claimed to be. The “butter chicken,” despite tasting good, was definitely not butter chicken, it felt more like they added butter to whatever they had cooked and named it "Butter Chicken" Most importantly, one of the women who served us had a serious attitude problem, and unfortunately, she was also the one who brought us the bill. She did her best to spoil the mood. Expensive food and delays in service are all tolerable when the staff is friendly, but not when they aren’t. My dad ordered two cups of black tea, which were billed at around ₹500, and we had two glasses of Coke that cost roughly the same. It’s an expensive restaurant, so the least a guest deserves is a warm smile and basic courtesy. Total Bill was apprx 12000 for 7 people and without alcohol.

2 Visit: I had an amazing time during my second visit! The food was absolutely incredible and the service was outstanding as always. Every dish was simply delectable, and the vegetarian platter was particularly well-prepared. I have to give a special shout-out to the Tres Leches dessert - the cake was incredibly moist and the flavor was outstanding! 1st Visit: Now coming to Guwahati, it’s one of the finer restaurants out there. The outlook of the restaurant is beautiful and very welcoming. The decor is 1st class, especially the lighting, most being sourced overseas. Coming to the food, I loved most of the dishes but of the lot, the Bamboo Roast Chicken stood out. But I was a bit disappointed as a few dishes that we wanted to taste were unavailable like the scallops. Coming to the desserts, it was the same plight, out of the 5 stated 3 were not available. However, to make up for it, they provided us with a malai fusion dessert which was LOVE. Point to Note for the hotel authorities - some of the tables with 4 seats are problematic, you can’t adjust your legs and it’s highly uncomfortable. Overall a beautiful dining scene with great food.
