It was a great experience here in this ngo..... we got to know so much about the silk, handloom . The head of the ngo arrange industrial visit also and taught us so nicely. Everything was nice but we faced difficulties with the traveling and night stay coz the area is way to far from ghy city. on behalf of myself one of teammate snehal Das collected the certificate from the organization due to some personal issues of mine .

Honestly this was my best experience ever .. but one most worst I have experience there is the worker do lot's of hard work they spent their whole life in this farming and weaving .. but as per their efforts.. they have the only source of income but they don't receive appropriate amount of their hard work and effort . 🙏🙏 The worker are so nice ..I have learnt lot's of information about muga and eri silk from basic to next & I'm far away from the organisation I'm sick ,so i unable to to go their to collect my certificate so me and one of my also stay with me to take care of me . Hence we authorise snehal Das to collect my certificate behalf of me .

I had the opportunity to witness the remarkable work being done at the Rural and Tribal Development Foundation’s Muga Farm in Sualkuchi, and it truly left a lasting impression. The dedication to preserving Assam’s rich silk heritage—especially the traditional Muga silk practices—is both inspiring and impactful. What stands out most is their genuine effort to uplift rural and tribal communities by offering them meaningful livelihoods through skill development and ethical silk farming. The entire process, from larvae nurturing to weaving, reflects deep respect for tradition, nature, and community. If you’re passionate about authentic craftsmanship, sustainable textiles, and supporting grassroots empowerment, this initiative is absolutely worth your attention. A visit or purchase here contributes directly to preserving heritage and nurturing rural talent. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Absolutely blown away by the artistry and heart behind their work. The attention to detail in every piece is stunning, and it's clear that tradition and skill are at the core of everything they create. What really stands out is their dedication to keeping age-old silk weaving alive while uplifting rural and tribal communities. They’re not just selling silk — they’re weaving stories, culture, and purpose into every thread. If you value authenticity, sustainability, and craftsmanship, don’t miss out on supporting them. Truly one-of-a-kind.
