Visiting Kamakhya Devi Temple was a deeply spiritual and unforgettable experience. The temple is filled with powerful positive energy and devotion. I visitied maa kamakhya mandir on 29 Nov 2025. This was my first visit. You can buy Vip ticket online 1 week before (Rs501). You can also buy vip ticket at the temple campus(but its sells very fast) There are online tickets for defence personell also... If you want to buy tickets free of cost....Get in the General queue.(In my caseGeneral queue window opened at 2 pm) Now the most important thing.... If you have vip tickets, it still takes atleast 2 to 3hours to visit the garbha griha. And in case of General ticket queue it takes 5 to 6 hours. .................... My suggestion: If you are not in a hurry then you dont need to take VIP tickets at all because while being in the queue for 6 hours i just had to stand for half an hour ...All the time i was sitting as there is proper seating arrangement all the way.

Mother divine, the Ancient Shaktipeeth of all. Visited this after a long time. The energy, the crowd surrounding the temple was strange. We waited for 15 hours in a General queue to have a Darshan of the Garba griha of Maa Kamakhya. Thank you Maa.

This is one of the most sacred and revered places of Maa Adyashakti and among the 51 Shakti Peethas of India. It is renowned for Tantra Sadhana and the eternal blessings of the divine Mother Kamakhya. One can truly feel the immense power and positive energy of the Goddess here. The queue for darshan is usually quite long, and generally at least 5 hours are required in the general line. Visitors can also explore the remaining nine temples of the Dasamahavidya located on Nilachal Hill. On the way, do not miss a visit to Bhairab Umananda Temple.

I'm glad to get blessings there after waiting in queue for long time. Visit in the morning as early as possible to avoid long queues. There is token system there and one can take prasadam after receiving token.

If you going to visit maa kamakhya then I will recommend you to buy the VIP tickets online atleast before 1 week. I went there 2 times both in the general queue. First time it was weekend and I had to stand in the queue for around 8 hrs and 2nd time it was weekday and I had to stand in the queue for 11 hours but everything was worth it when finally got the darshan of Maa.

This place is very nice, it gives peace of mind and concentration.
