An ethnic restaurant serving mainly Assamese and Naga food. Anyone who doesn’t like Bamboo shoot smell shouldn’t visit this restaurant as you will get a strong whiff of it when you enter. Otherwise, the food is good. Having ordered the fresh pork thali, it has raja mircha chutney, joha rice, dal, aalu pitika (in Naga food?), dry pork, pork curry in michinga leaves. Overall taste was ok; portion was good, service was good and the entire menu experience is good. When requested, they did not have bhoot jolokia; they was surprising. They have thalis consisting of fish, duck, chicken, pork and mutton. Prices are reasonable. Parking is a problem.

I went on Feb 03 2026. The cafe is cozy, with humble and welcoming staff. I tried Naga Non veg thali which was good as I wanted to try something authentic when in Assam. The Coffee caramel pudding was also good. I went in afternoon and there was no rush only 1 person except me sitting there.

We flew from Mumbai to Assam in search of authentic Assamese food, and this place turned out to be a beautiful find. Amazing food, great taste, warm people, and a lovely ambience, the vibe just feels right. We tried the local chicken dish, and it was an absolute blast, rich in flavor and truly authentic. A special thanks to Riyaz for the wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone looking to experience real Assamese cuisine.

Good ethnic full scale dine in place for dinner and lunch where We have did our lunch yesterday. Thalis was served hot and fresh but lacked standardised palate taste of the delicacies that were been served. Pork was good but taste wise it too lacked the depth of deliciousness of a naga dish. Sharing the images for reference.

A friend recommended this place to me, and since I was extremely hungry, all I wanted was a proper Assamese thali with some delicious non veg items. Unexpectedly, I found this beautiful spot so well decorated, warm, and inviting. And the food just wow ♥️ The mutton and duck were perfectly cooked, rich in flavour, and an absolutely perfect combination. Truly a 5/5 experience.”

Ambience is 10 or 10, quiet and soothing, but I ordered veg Thali with chicken separately and fish separately. Chicken was pretty good, but I think Fish was a bit smelly, and I didn’t like the after taste as I think it was not washed well I hope they improve here overall it’s a nice place

Food was the only hero here. Service is slow and very unpredictable. The food waitresses do not serve water until asked to, do not inform if a dish takes time to be cooked, we had to wait almost 25-30minutes for our food. They also forgot a drink that we ordered and did not serve it. Washroom is very dirty and smells horrible! Unusable!!! But the food was good. I’m just worried that the kitchen might not be clean and hygiene so I’m not sure if I will be visiting again. Smokey fried chicken tasted good but the chicken pieces were not good, very tough. The local chicken thali was very good!!!
