Paradise is a quiet, lovely way to enjoy an Assamese thali. The staff is friendly and accomodating- they explain all the dishes and can recommend the best choices for you and even a large group of people. The non veg thali was delicious, everyone enjoyed the veg thali as well!

Visited in Sep 2025 to try an authentic Assamese thali. The road in front of the restaurant is under construction so parking is a huge issue. It takes plenty of time getting here due to this. Staff is polite and we ordered the Veg and Non veg thali. Liked the food, the usage or Bamboo, mustard being very prominent. A unique taste and preparation style makes it a nice meal. A friend who ate the non veg thali ( chicken) mentioned the two items were good too. I would normally have given 5 stars but for the ridiculously overpriced tea (220 bucks in Assam!) and slightly higher thali prices for the limited quantity ( no extra helpings). Still an experience to remember

Visited the restaurant Parampara under Paradise, looking for authentic Assamese food and this place totally exceeded my expectations. Ordered veg vyanjan thali, fulka and paneer chilly. Each and every dish was very tasty. The staff was very polite and always ready to help with the food.

Our first time to the restaurant based on good reviews for authentic assamese cuisine. Steamed fish cooked in bamboo was the highlight as the dish was flavourful with just onion and green chillies. Rohu fish curry was ok but the quantity was not enough even for 2 people though the price was 350 Rs served with 100 gm of fish piece.

It is one of the classic spots for Assamese Food. I enjoy their Parampara thali with mutton. Tender meat with Assamese style spices. It comes with Two fish items: definitely enjoy the fish Ou tenga curry and patot dia maas. Overall it is for the nostalgia, I visit sometimes. But their quality is still top notch. Worth a visit for Assamese cuisine.

Paradise was recommended by a friend who has lived in Guwahati. If you want to try traditional Assamese food with an old world charm it's the place to go. I tried the parampara thali with duck option and it was delicious. One thali is more than sufficient for an individual. There are no second helpings but it's fine. You won't find any parking easily so maybe take a cab but will definitely recommend.

I was in Guwahati for a day with my family and googled about the best Assamese thali restaurant and this popped up. I must say that the place lived up to its ratings. We tried traditional Thalis and food was good. The staff was very welcoming, cordial and polite. If you’re in Guwahati and want to experience the Assamese food then go for this..
