Low price , great quality and good food … If you are craving for good homemade like Assamese food at affordable price this is the place . The place is quite good with sufficient seating area. There is rush in the afternoon hours ( you may need to wait 5 mins usually) The food is tasty and affordable. The chicken thali (Rs 120) and pork thali ( Rs 120) . They contain one dal , rice , aloo bhaji , one sabji , salad , two chatnis , bangan aur pumpkin pakoda and chicken/ pork curry respectively . The menu may change based on availability .The food have homely , less masala and pleasant taste . Its apt for students especially the ones longing for home made food

Very good thalis. The chicken curry was so tasty. They serve a wide variety of side dishes with the thali. Do not expect warm hospitality and greetings as you enter or leave because the place is always packed and the people working there are too busy to greet you.

Nice food and severved in traditional bell metal utensils. Its a busy place with fast dining turnover. As of 13 November 2025 they have great prices. Veg Thali with unlimited refils is 60 INR. And one pork cury was around 60 INR more.

Food quality is fantastic. Price range is very affordable. But you should take a good time in hand before coming there as it's very crowded and it takes almost 20/30mins to get a table.

The food here is truly awesome! The veg thali costs just ₹60 and is prepared with less masala and less oil-simple, healthy, and very close to traditional Assamese home-style cooking. Rongali is definitely one of the best places to enjoy authentic Assamese ethnic cuisine.
