As the name itself says it is a Government Press. All Government advertisement, circulars, question papers, notification etc. are printed here. It is a old Government Office in deplorable condition.

A huge setup of press and large number of staff and officials for carrying out print of matters relevant to Govt works, orders, gazzettes etc. Various databases of are printed here. Statistical Handbook of Assam is available here. There are sell counters at ground floor for public. Sufficient parking spaces available for the visitors.
