The Pandunath Mandir is a pre-Ahom temple site devoted to Lord Ganesha. Practically nothing remains of the old temple except for a couple of rock inscriptions and two artefacts. It is being encroached fast and the Archaeological Survey of India needs to act fast in order to save the site.

The Pandunath Dewaloy/Temple was built and gifted to Nati Gosain (grandsons of the Kamakhya's Parbatia Gosain) by Ahom king Swargadeo Rajeswar Singha during his reign from 1751-1769 C. E.
