One of the best place for non veg items. Specially frozen food. All cheicken, pork and fish along with some if the sea food items are available. Mutton is not available here. Price is quite reasonable and quantity is best in the market. There is no A/C, which makes this place very uncomfortable and sometimes unbearable. So lot of people just avoid going to this place. You have to struggle to find your favorite/preferred food. Its not very systematic. There should be specific freezer for each pork, fish and chicken. The billing system is mannual, means dont expect any bill, or wait for a lot of timr to get that. They will manually calculate (and tally for you) to tell you the final billed amount!! Please at least a bilking machine should be a psrt of such a business establishment! Parking is at your own risk, alongside the main road.

Good place to get boneless chicken. But if you buy eggs then you must be careful for this place at times provides you eggs which are with cracked shells. The biggest disadvantage of the place was that it is a government outlet but it didn't support digital payment. It was cash only. Government wants us to adopt digital payments but unfortunately government outlets like this didn't have any facility for digital payment. I am giving five stars because soon after my review they have introduced digital payment. Now, everything is just perfect. There is ample place to park even if you arrive in a truck.

This sales booth is from the govt department "Assam livestock and poultry department". Meat (chicken/duck/pork packaged, processed and frozen), dairy products (curd, ghee, cream, paneer), honey, eggs meat are available here. I found the quality quite good. Many times I did enquire from where the products are collected and most of them are from local (Assam) farmers or small groups of entrepreneurs which is a great thing as this gives a good platform to sell their products. During Bihu other items related to the festival are available too. The parking is not an issue as the GS road is wide enough and you can find a place and park easily. However, there is a lot to upgrade, like the tagging of items for quick reach, addition of shelves for better display, proper billing system with GST bills so that the government gets its fair share etc etc.

Good cold storage. The price of meat sold (chicken, pork etc) is the same as market price. Even eggs sold is more or less same price. But it’s best for sausages, salami, ham and other processed meat items. These items are rare or not available in other super markets. They only accept cash payments.That’s one downside.
