Choonsali Picnic Spot is a mixed experience. The immediate area near the entrance is not well maintained, with leftover puja items and garbage dumped around, which spoils the atmosphere. However, if you walk a little further — just a few yards away from the crowded area — the place completely transforms. The view of the beautiful river is truly amazing, peaceful, and worth the short walk. With proper cleanliness, this could easily be one of the better picnic spots in the area.

Good picnic spot visit for summer and winter days

It's a good place but could have arranged lot of entertainment tools for the visitors. For every vehicle they charge different rates. Only the river bank but has no arrangement to be entertained. All the required picnic tool must be carried by the visitors themselves.

Good place for picnic and family gatherings...in winter horse riding is also available.

A very beautiful place at the bank of Brahmaputra. The surroundings with trees and huge stones give a surplus point to the spot. The iconic time to visit the spot is in December and January. One can visit anytime of the year. But in the two months, the spot is full of visitors and picnic parties. In the winter season, the sand are more than usual , a small tree named 'Jhao ban' is everywhere. And the scenario is more beautiful. One can enjoy the beautiful water scenario.

Place is nice, but people are making the spot as dustbin. Leaving all the plastic , eateries , on the very spot where they were enjoying the picnic on river bank. Ruining a very beautiful scenic location. Giving 1 rating so that people will not do this.
