I visited the place when there is lots of construction happening around the place, so dust and noise everywhere. If you remove the noise and construction out of the equation then it's a very peaceful and calm place to visit. There is a boating service, which I haven't tried but I would try it for sure while visiting next time

Dighalipukhuri Park is a true oasis in the heart of Guwahati. The moment you step in, the serene atmosphere envelops you, making it easy to forget the city's chaos. The historic pond is the centerpiece, surrounded by lush greenery that adds to the tranquility. Boating here is a must—whether it's a paddle boat or a gentle ride, it’s a delightful way to soak in the beauty. Evenings are particularly magical, with the soft glow of lights reflecting off the water, creating a romantic ambiance. The票价是

Amazing place. Had a great time there Dighalipukuri in Guwahati is a serene gem, perfect for a peaceful retreat amidst the city’s hustle. This historic lake, surrounded by lush greenery, offers a calming ambiance ideal for morning walks or evening strolls. The gentle ripples of the water and the sight of migratory birds make it a haven for nature lovers. I recently visited during sunset, and the view was breathtaking, with the sky reflecting vibrant hues on the lake. The area is well-maintained, with clean pathways and benches for relaxation. Local vendors nearby serve delicious Assamese snacks like pitha, adding a delightful cultural touch. However, parking can be a challenge during peak hours, and I’d love to see more signage about the lake’s history to enhance the experience. Overall, Dighalipukuri is a must-visit spot in Guwahati for its tranquil beauty and refreshing vibe—a perfect blend of nature and culture. Highly recommended for locals and tourists alike!

Centered around the historic Dighalipukhuri pond, the park combines natural beauty with a touch of history, making it a popular destination for families, tourists, and morning walkers. The calm waters of the pond reflect the surrounding greenery, creating a scenic and relaxing environment perfect for photography, casual strolls, and meditation. Children can enjoy open spaces for play, and the park’s tranquil ambiance is ideal for elderly visitors and nature enthusiasts. The area is also significant historically, as Dighalipukhuri is linked to local legends and city heritage, adding an educational aspect to the visit. The iconic Dighalipukhuri park still attracts tourists and one can spend some good time here with kids and family. The park has a children playing area with some slides and see-saw. Their is also arrangement for boat-ride and one can enjoy this with friends and family. The entry fee to the park is Rs 10. There are statues of prominent Assamese personalities but the statues are not well maintained and needs urgent attention as when I visited, they were not clean. The street food stalls outside the park are a must try and offer variety of options
