If you are looking for the perfect spot for your kids to burn off some energy without spending a rupee, this is easily one of the best parks to visit. It’s a fantastic example of a high-quality public space. I was pleasantly surprised by how neat and clean the premises are. The walking paths and play areas are well-maintained, which is a huge plus for parents concerned about hygiene. The layout is perfect for children to run🏃 around safely. The open space, it’s designed to keep them engaged and active. A big thank you to the management for keeping such a wonderful space free and clean for the community!😊

Very peaceful and clean place, maintained very carefully.. It’s a must visit place if you ever visit Guwahati. Just around the entrance to Guwahati university, no entry ticket needed. There is a museum with all the paintings and photographs of Bhupen Hazarika.

I had a very good overall experience with this location. The staff was polite, professional, and clearly focused on providing quality service. Everything was explained properly, the process was smooth, and the outcome met my expectations. I would confidently recommend this place to others.

Dr Bhupen Hazarika is the most well-known personality of Assam. Besides being a singer he was a music composer and film maker also. As a social activist he was prominent one in his days. He was awarded Dada Saheb Falke Award along with President`s Award for film making and National Award for music composition. He sang the highest number of Assamese song in films till date. His `samadhi` is situated at Jalukbari near Guwahati. The place was calm and quiet even few days ago. Now roads from Goyalpara and other places make it bit noisy. But the samadhi garden is really nice. The monument built in his memory is a good example of sculpture. The statue of Dr Hazarika is also a great work. The ambiance of this place makes the visitors to remember the great singer. Camera photography is not allowed inside the park, though there is no objection in use of mobile phone camera. The greenery of the park is praiseworthy. But the `Anant Jyoti` is not visible though it was promised earlier.
