Serene beautiful and most importantly peaceful place with no rush of people. The road is good and travelling is a cakewalk, however we need to watchout for the vehicles in the evening as the road is little narrow for 2 vehicles to pass smoothly. Fresh air and there are few places where we can eat good food. Must visit!

Garbhanga Reserve forest if you are birder or a naturalist or a nature lover this is the place in Guwahati. But make sure you put Garbhanga entry point for your Rapido Uber provides service for this location but not Rapido. This location is general location for Garbhanga , if you are here for birding you can drop down at Garbhanga entry point which is very close to Lokhra junction in NH, If you are planning for a walk make sure that you carry enough water and eateries along with you. As there are no provision for it. There is a interlock road connecting the next village through Garbhanga so the walk is not hectic, but if you are adventurous you can also try mud pathways inside, but beware of wild animals also look out for leaches The side of the road is little degraded forest but overall it’s a good ecosystem with birds and butterflies I am little disheartened by the people as they throw garbages inside the forest along the side of the road

visited on 26.01.24 📍This place is not far away from Guwahati City. Best place for small gathering group picnic and must go place for nature lover. 📍You have to enter ur details at the starting checkpoint of Assam Police Reserve. No any kind of pass or documents required and also free of cost. 📍At the starting point, you have travelled more than 25 km in narrow road (Block structured) to reach the destination. It will take more than 1 hr. 📍The road condition is good but be careful and limit your speed while turning. 📍There are three major waterfalls and one is little smaller compared to other two falls. 📍Good place for fun. Nature gives everything - water, bamboo for pork boil, rice, banana leaves for plates & wood for cooking so you donot have to take too much cooking devices. 📍Before you reach the last point the road is under construction. On that day one 4 wheeler vehicle wagonr got stuck in the mud and later engine got fire. Specially for 4 wheelers.(This place is not for heavyweight vehicle _ Bus , Travellers due to narrow road) 📍 parking place is not so big. You may park the vehicle at the roadside. 📍There are some local vendors selling Local wine with pork, & some vegetables, snacks etc. 📍 Good place for day out. But remember the Mobile network is not good there and no electricity is there. So better return from that place before the sunset. 📍Explore the unseen and beauty of nature. Must go place highly recommended. & create some precious moments with ur closed ones. 📍Entry fee for last waterfall is 20 (per one 2 wheeler)

Not far from DPS lokhra. Car Parking facility available. Per car entry fee is Rs 100. There is a natural water stream. A few small shops are available nearby in case if you want to buy essentials.
