The statue of greatest folk singer of Assam looks good but neglect maintaining properly. Beautiful monument in recognisation of legendary singer and Assamese folk songs. Illumination is necessary to beautify the place.

This place is dedicated to a great personality of Assamese culture. It’s good to see AASU making a memorial for her asa a tribute but there is a very lack and poor maintenance of this place. At night there is no proper lighting here. The place is never swept at the day or anytime. See, if you’re really paying her a tribute do it with honour not like this.

There is only a statue of Legendary singer Late Pratima Pandey Baruwa and nothing else in the park.Park is only about 1500 sq meters. No one visits the park except only for a day by All Assam Students Union on the birthday of the singer.

Pratima Pandey Memorial Park is located at GNB Road, Chandmari, Opp Chandmari Medico's, Guwahati, Kamrup(M), Assam - 781003.. Pratima Baruah Pandey was one among the greatest Singer in the history of Assam who had contributed a lot for our culture nd society.. The park is created/built only to pay a tribute in her memory by ASSU in the year 2008.. A great beautiful statue has been placed in the premises, facing towards the roadside.. But in the saddest part, the maintenance is very poor over here, it doesn't gets a poor cleaning nd remains dirty with all the dust nd leaves of trees for a whole year, as it is cleaned on her day only.. #Park not for children or visitors to roam or visit.. RB.........
