ROYAL NAGA HOTEL

Visited this hotel during my last visit to Guwahati on my way back from Tawang and frankly, we were so craving for Naga food after being away from almost a week without it but this hotel was a bit of a disappointment. Since it was nearby the railway station, we stopped there and the service was very slow and we had to get up and knock and call for them to ask for the things we needed and so it was a disappointment. The pork cooked in bamboo shoot was ok but the smoked pork with axone, we were given only the lard portion and there was no meat. Not upto the expectation even though pricing was decent

Tbh as a naga thought the food would be good but it was tasteless, ordered pork innards, pork and chicken thali. The innards was quite ok but the pork and chicken was not what we thought. The dal was served in a small bowl for three person. The soup of the chicken and pork just taste like water with some salt. Maybe because we dine in evening that they served us leftover but it was not good at all. Also the service was really bad asked for boiled and papad but didn't receive. It was only when we were about to finish our foodsaid to the service guy that we asked for boil. Hope it gets better.

Had the bamboo shoot pork curry. Phew, it was quite good, the pieces were kind of huge. But I'd say it was more of a pork boil then a pork curry and it was SPICY. It was oily tho but that's how Naga pork curries are, i guess.

Good Naga food at great prices. Everything is very reasonably priced here, also food is lot better than other fancy restaurants that I've visited around this area. Can be ordered online with Swiggy App

Good food, fresh. The bamboo shoot was good & spicey. The only thing missing was a bill which I needed but couldn't get. Otherwise good experience. Underrated.

The price of the water was Rs 20 only but the restaurant charged Rs 35 for no reason literally conning the customer just for Rs 15 how ridiculous.

This hotel was really good. It has a very good and homely feeling there. The pork was so good. Also everything about the food was good and healthy no extra added spice and very good taste. Naga food rocks.
